The property was very clean, the staff was extremely nice. Only issues we had was fridge was not restocked and had to call maintanance a couple times about the toilet not flushing.

During our stay , the water shut off for about 5-6 hrs leaving the entire resort without running water for bathrooms , showers etc.. We also chose the suite with a jetted tub which turned out to be more of a dribble. The tub inside didn’t seem to warm up and the water slowly trickled out of the faucets/jets. The one outside got decently warm but again did not have enough pressure to use the jets. The food wasn’t very good in most of the restaurants other than one of the buffets. Drinks were all water down and not very good . The entertainment was okay and did have a few events we enjoyed . Unfortunate that this was our first experience in Cabo. Wouldn’t recommend coming here if you are looking for the luxurious resort experience . Didn’t ruin the trip but we won’t be coming back to this resort .

Overall we had a good experience with our first time in an all inclusive resort. We had a number of issues with our room that did get addressed but we felt that the room should have been in better repair before a guest was checked in to describe the things that needed to be fixed. There were some problems with communication and complications with many layers of approval to go through to get things done or arrange for services. The housekeeper for our room was excellent and we always had excellent service in the restaurants.

The Riu in Cabo is amazing! Beach, grounds, food, drinks, views, entertainment, and the staff were all outstanding. My only suggestion for improvement is the room noise. The AC and refrigerator were unusually loud and clunky consistently which made sleeping very difficult.
