Good room, terrible breakfast
The room was clean and the bed was confortable. The breakfast was terrible. We arrived 1 hour before "closing time" and could just find scraps of scrambled eggs, no pastries, a couple of old bread slices, soluble cheap coffee, artificial orange juice, butter and jam. A lady came, picked up the eggs tray and left. We were waiting for more eggs, but she came back and just took the eggs label away. Same happened with the potatoes: there were just scraps, they took the tray and just told us that no more potatoes would be prepared/served. One hour to the end of the breakfast, we'd have no more eggs or potatoes, leaving us with just sliced bread as an option. People complained about the "pastries" tray being empty all the morning and a lady brought ONE waffle cut in 4 portions, and put it on the tray. Everything tasted old, stale and cheap. Very disappointing.

I don't stay in a lot of motels but this is the best I've ever stayed in. Quiet, clean, very professional and easy check in, we were earlier than the check in time and the room was ready with no problems getting in earlier .

This hotel is okay with a good breakfast and the cookies and coffee upon arrival are a nice touch. Was very clean and bed was comfortable. We were very surprised to find our room was in the basement (this should have been made clear when we booked, especially as it cost $230-All hotels were more expensive due to an event at Western I think). Loud banging noise whenever we used the water or flushed, and ventilation very loud.

The staff was cheerful, friendly and available to answer questions. The room was spacious and clean with a conformable chair, desk/table with chair, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The breakfast was fantastic with real scrambled and boiled eggs, French toast, waffles, sausage, hot and cold cereal, muffins, an assortment of items to toast, juice, milk and coffee. Plenty to choose from.

Nice but not secure
Room is clean, bed comfy and surrounding clean. However, room service did not pick my calls and the building is NOT AT ALL secure. I expected to swipe my card to gain access after hours especially as there was seldom any receptionist at the lobby but the doors opened as I approached and I walked through the lobby to the stairs without seeing anyone.

Excellent Hotel
I stayed here because I was attending a concert at Canada Life Place (formerly Budweiser Gardens). The hotel is located around the corner from the hospital, and the neighbourhood it’s in is quiet. The lobby is so cozy, and they had free cookies available for guests. Check in was easy. The room was awesome, I love that the floor was done in laminate and not carpet. The air conditioner worked very well. The bathroom was clean (I did not use the shower so I can’t speak to that). The beds were SO COMFORTABLE. I wish I had stayed for an extra night just so I could enjoy them for another day! I was worried the pillows would be too soft but for me they ended up being perfect little clouds. There was a fair sized mini-fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker in the room. It also had plenty of lighting and outlets available for charging. I did not notice if there was a USB-C charge port anywhere so make sure you bring a charging brick with you if you need that. The next time I visit London I will definitely be staying here again.
