Nice quiet location, easy check in. Very friendly staff. Great onsite restaurant, food was very nice and fresh and not overpriced. Would stay again next time we are in Lithgow.

It’s cold. Very cold. Wind blows through the windows.Screen rattles. Heater is noisy and doesn’t seem to make a dent on the cold. Restaurant closed and no basic equipment such as a plate or cutlery to eat supermarket food. It’s miserable and mean to not provide these basics especially when there is no alternative! No restaurants open in township (except maccas etc). Can’t wait to get out of here.

The Zig Zag motel and staff are excellent. We have stayed here about 4 times now and eaten in the restaurant each time, every time there was a different menu and have not been disappointed once. Fantastic venue.

Good sized room and bathroom, comfortable beds with electric blankets, we felt warm and secure on a chilly Lithgow night. Frankie’s Restaurant on the property a delightful gem. Heartily recommend this motel.

Motel was clean and updated. It was a quick overnight stay but a comfortable one. Staff were pleasant and rang to notify me of an item that was left in the room on departure. I would stay again

A couple of comments. The lighting outside the units is poor. The lights are only between every two units and the brightness is poor. Makes the need to walk carefully at night essential. The bathroom shelf is too small.
