We enjoyed our stay at the hotel a lot. We went for new year and the hotel was right near the park where the Lisbon winter wonderland was so it was an easy walk to that. It was also an easy walk to the city centre. The area is quite hilly but we were fine with our grippy shoes. We often spent time in the evening at the bar with some wine and port too. Although we didn’t eat, the food looked lovely from what we saw others eating. Our room was lovely. Nice and spacious. Relatively clean.

This hotel falls far short of 5-star standards: - Room condition: The shower hood in my room was broken, and the tissue box provided had only a few tissues left. - Service: I sent my jeans for dry cleaning, as I had a dinner planned. While reception assured me they’d be returned by the end of the day, they were returned later without being cleaned. - Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the reception and restaurant toilets was appalling—street toilets were cleaner. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend the hotel at all.
