Recommended budget hotel
Great budget option. The smallest room is indeed quite small, and the shower can be challenging for big individuals, but the staff is great and it's a quick exit off the highway.

average stay - convenient
There was some small amounts of mould on some of the bread at breakfast The room where breakfast served is quite small and was quite full - it could do with some air con or a fan. The rooms we stayed in 221 and 211 (I think) were very basic and not as nice as on the website / hotels.com site.

Good check-in. The hotel is very average but for the price can't complain. A convenient option for one night only...

Dissappoing
The room we got had nothing to do with the pictures on the website. More than very basic and worn off, small like an airplane toilet cabin-very small box,not a room, let alone mention the bathroom that was like the smallest shower cabin. Not even a wardrobe or cupboard present where to hang your coat.Otherwise had toiletries like 2 used toilet paper rolls. Not worth the money at all even for 1 night. The next hotel we got was cheaper and worth the money. Otherwise the receptionist was ok.Breakfast was ok-but not hand baked bakery-cheapest from the supermarket,(not worthy as well unless you have no choice)coffee was made already in a mug.Breakfast was in a very tight space at reception.Don't go for breakfast after 9am as it is likely you won't find anything. In order to reach this hotel, one needs a car-it is in an area in the nowhere where there are some shops and aome restaurants I guess one can bear 1night there, but more than a night is a NO NO.

Less cramped than some French hotels
Inexpensive French hotels never as good as UK equivalents but this was not too cramped apart from the tiny combined shower/toilet. Very pleasant staff and a nice continental breakfast available.

Clean but dated. Great for a one night stay.
Hotel in a trading estate so not scenic but was purely functional. Clean room, although a slight damp smell initially. Needs modernising.

Get what you pay for.
It is a budget motel, which was what we were after. There is a bed, a toilet, a room - small. But for the price, it was great. We stayed one night only. I wouldn't stay here longer than that.

Spring Break
Typical chain room, shower was fitted upside down so had to hold it all the time. Bit noisy as next to main railway line but good deal for price. Off same main roundabout that you use to exit motorway so easy missed.

Why Stay In a Retail Park
Ok for stopping off on a long journey, when you need to rest, suppose, But, have slept on softer floors! pillors where like a sack of rope! Staff were friendly enough! & helpful. In the middle/side of a retail park, motorway just outside (that's why convenient to stop if/when tiered on long journey! Sorry, but car's coming & going all night . . . . so not really restful

Recommended hotel for stop overs or more
Our family - 2 adults and a 15 & 11 year old stayed the night in April 2015 on our way from Calais to Paris. We checked in at 9:45 and the machine to process our booking and provide a key had multiple language choices and was easy to use. The private carpark had security gates. Our room was basic but clean. A double bed and a bunk bed with plenty of room between. Very similar to a UK Travelodge but with just a shower, no bath. The bedding was clean, the carpet clean, the heating worked, the window worked. The private bathroom was clean with some free soap provided. No tea making facilities, but there was a vending machine in reception providing a variety of coffees and hot chocolate (no tea) for 1 euro each, as well as a couple of other machines - 1 for cold drinks, and the other for crisps and sweets. Breakfast was fresh and the hot things were hot, and the cold things were in a fridge. A large and plentiful choice of breads, fruit, cereals, yogurts, pastries, cake, and tea, coffee, fruit juice. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Overnighting in Lille
I picked this hotel as a place with a good location for me to overnight while touring battlefields in Belgium and France. I had read some of the reviews which most were not the best - some stating down or poor internet service to small, very bare rooms. I should have listened to my gut. The building is a wooden building, very worn, very tired, so the floors creak as you walk around a very small room, probably about 12 feet wide by 25 ft wide. The bathroom is a dual use room. By this I mean it is like a small RV if you have seen the ones that basically the toilet/sink is in the shower stall. The internet was down while I was there which I needed to plan the next days sties to visit. I went downstairs to inform the clerk who tried resetting the wifi but to no avail. I was tempted to leave and find another hotel but as it was already late and I was tired I sucked it up, but will listen to the reviews next time. The clerk was as with all my other hotel visits in Belgium and France, very cordial and nice.

Budget hotel at a good price
Stayed 1 night arrived in evening, so used the self check in - pretty self explanatory and gave you your room key. was pretty basic, but if I wanted more facilities I would have paid more... Friendly cheerful receptionist - would stay again.

The hotel is situated on an industrial park. The manager was friendly but spoke hardly any english. The hotel appeared clean but had an unpleasant smell. The room was very dated. We decided rather than stay we would travel back a day early, so we checked in but left within an hour. We did not want to stay on an industrial park.

You get what you pay for.
Manager very helpful - does his best to be helpful and friendly. Staff friendly but despite asking the night before for taxi to be booked for the morning it didn't arrive - lost me 40minutes waiting for another. Bed very comfortable, though narrow (twin room). Spartan room but clean. Bathroom and toilet little more than a plastic lined cupboard. Worst thing if you are trying to do some work is the painfully slow internet. It's dreadful. Mind you I went to a company nearby for a meeting and theirs was awful too. And there is only a small stool in the room to sit at the desk on, which is uncomfortable if used for any length of time. Breakfast bread and croissants, a couple of cereals or yoghurt. Ok but nothing to be excited about. For a cheap overnighter it's reasonable value at €45 or thereabouts. But don't book it if you want to work comfortably or want more than bed and board. But the manager and staff deserve praise for their efforts in the main. Oh, about 200-300 metres away there is a steakhouse type restaurant, a bar/bistro place and a kind of family style restaurant. Not cordon bleu, but decent fare. Would recommend to a friend who wanted 'cheap and cheerful', but not as a desirable hotel.

Budget Hotel but more than adequate for a short st
Having booked this hotel by mistake and read poor reviews, I was very worried however the staff were so helpful that any worries disappeared immediately. The room is basic but for a short stay when you are out all day, what more do you need. There are a number of restaurants nearby however nothing that serves breakfast. The bathroom was very small but had hot water and a good shower - no bath The free wifi was good throughout the room with at least two of us streaming movies at the same time without loss of signal! All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and would quite happily stay there again for a short stay.
