The Delano is a great property, connected to the Mandalay Bay and all of its amenities. . We stayed in a STAY WELL suite - the room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the extra amenities included with the suite and will definitely book that option again. We ate at 4 of the restaurants on the property, all were easily accessible and food was adequate. We utilized the pool at the Mandalay Bay, and although effort was made to tempt us to purchase a cabana- there was plenty of free seating available, although for most of the day the cabanas had the only shade.

More greeters and hosts helping people navigate the casino. Lines at check in way too long, last thing people want to do is wait at the beginning of there stay. Check in staff where great, you need more of them. Pool area needs an update. Pool and life guards were great. Hope you pay them all very well.

It is a beautiful property, but I was not aware I would pay to have a coffee machine in my room and for water that was not inside the minibar. I'm disappointed that no one told me there would be extra charges for items you get for free in far lower end hotels.

I fortunately arrived at time that wasn't busy so fewer crowds on a Wednesday. It's nice walking into a more sedate setting from the casino. Online check in on the app was a breeze but still finicky opening the doors and garage access so I got cards to use which were better. The room is rather drab with average furnishings for an upscale property and my view was of a concrete wall. The bed was nice and staff were helpful. I don't like paying a resort fee when it's basically for wifi and the pool which I didn't use; while it doesn't include the fitness room or parking. The in room mini bar is stupid expensive. We had a good meal at Citizens at Mandaly Bay.

Overall, we really like staying at the Delano. The hotel staff is always very friendly and it’s definetly more private than the Mandalay Bay attached. The bad thing was The carpet… especially in the livingroom was very dirty. Stains everywhere and the couch was dirty too.

Close to airport. Staff was nice and accommodating. Didn’t like the smell of the hotel . Smelled like bad cheap air freshener. It was very dark and felt dirty in the lobby , entrance area The room was nice . Clean and had an air purifier which was great.
