Appreciated being close to the lobby. Very friendly front desk staff —— chicken tortilla soup in Waterfront Restaurant was ridiculously salty. I should have said something but chose to leave it in finishied instead.

Good but can improve.
It is a beautiful hotel with great people. It was freezing everywhere except in my room. The cafe closes too early and there is no coffee or tea station to help with warming up. There is also no cocktail table in all the rooms, which would assist with staying warm and not having to leave the warmth to play cards or mingle with friends.

Room was appropriate for the price I paid. The property was tidy. Front desk staff were avoidant, rushed me through the check in process, not thorough, rambled through basic details, didn’t offer to clean my room, didn’t bring towels as requested and was not attentive. They huddled at the front desk chatting away not paying attention to guests. I did like the indoor swim area and the onsite coffee cafe. The place should improve signage & maps for navigating the property.

Didn't like all the kids in the pool. Never even got to use it. Should have a cutoff for children in later hours and then adults only. Had I known, I would not have booked it here. I liked the room and the shower. Front desk was very helpful when checking in.

This is our second time staying at the Abbey. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean comfortable. There is a certain charm about the resort and it is a wonderfully relaxing get away after the holidays!

The minute I arrived, I was greeted by very pleasant people at the reception desk, I was able to check in earlier than scheduled, and as soon as I mentioned, my sister was expecting me. Denies young man asked me if I wanted the room close to her. I didn’t expect to be so lucky but I appreciate it it and we were able to stay close to each other. That is an absolutely outstanding above and beyond customer service five stars all the way.
