I stayed at the Grand Millennium Hotel while attending a workshop held at the property. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s shopping district, surrounded by major malls and attractions. Having the workshop in the same hotel was incredibly convenient, saving me a lot of time and effort during my visit. The staff were welcoming, and the service was good. My room was comfortable, and the hotel offered all the standard amenities you would expect. However, I couldn’t help but feel that the property is showing its age. The decor and facilities could definitely use a renovation to bring them up to modern standards. Updating the interiors would greatly enhance the overall experience. In summary, this hotel is ideal for those prioritizing location and convenience, especially if you’re attending an event there. But if you’re looking for something more modern and luxurious, it might not fully meet expectations. Rating: 4/5

Ran out of tissue paper. Housekeeping did not provide bottles of mineral water on the next day. Did not put the ironing board away for us. Room looks dated. Hot water was not running well.

Generally poor service other than concierge and front desk who were perhaps adequate. The hotel is frequented by huge families that create impossible queues for dining facilities and a very noisy environment throughout the premises. Power points and adapters frequently did not work. The adapters I use elsewhere in Asia only worked in some points. Very limited menu. There is no bar. There is a bistro with alcohol but half of the space is for smokers. The notion that this hotel is 5 star is absurd. It is not up to standard for an international business traveller.

We have stayed here for the past three years staying in excess of 20 days each time. We cannot fault the hotel. Good pool excellent breakfast choices and the location is its biggest asset. Really friendly staff and MRT/monorail and buses. Purple line for Chinatown, Green Line for KLCC and Blue Line for Little India.

Check-in experience, could have been better.

Noticed the check-in staff lacks courtesy. When returning guest's documents either passport or any documents, it should be done with both hands. But in my case, they just return it with one hand and no eye contact. Happened on two occasions; one during registration and later collect the room door cards. I wish the concierge has some empathy towards guests who had no prior knowledge of taking a parking ticket when entering the hotel parking instead or using cashless parking mode. I was told that I 'should' know. I have to give a long explanation in exchange for the exit ticket. However credit to be given to room service. Attentive and response quickly when requesting for towels. Thanks.

Hotel old and outdated .. gym equipment was old and filthy.. could overlook all of this however was not even allowed to bring my small carry on sized bag to the breakfast buffet despite being on my own..was sent away and would only be allowed to return if I cloaked it with the concierge on a different level.. most insultingly.. 2 women who were of the same racial appearance as the person who sent me away were escorted to their table with 2 x bags each.. absolute disgrace of a hotel.. avoid
