Nice enough with a couple issues
My room was clean and comfortable enough but it felt totally unfinished. No art or decor anywhere in the room — just bare white walls and white bedding, it looked so sterile and cold, not at all welcoming. No towel bars or even hooks in the bathroom! Also I paid for a king suite and it was basically just a slightly larger room with a couch. A suite usually has two rooms or at least a separate living area. This was not a suite.

When we expressed that the remote for the tv didn't work the person at the front desk dismissed the concern and told us the remote worked fine. We were unable to change the channel and could only watch tv from the small preview screen on the guide channel

Employee when I came back to the hotel after Chiefs game was a rude man. Also if you got blood on sheets or bed spread it needs thrown away. The TV in my room didn't work

We made reservations en route because of the reputation and good past experiences with Hampton Inn. This was our first stay at this location. We especially appreciate the guest care given by Israel. There was a tornado watch there but assured of the safety protocol.

Holy Bleach Batman
When we arrived at our room we were met with a very strong odor of bleach. My wife immediately started coughing and eyes started burning. We informed the front desk and was informed they were fully booked. The next morning we both had bad sore throats. It felt like our throats had chemical burns.
