A perfect view from the property
Driving into the property, we were very excited by the external appearance and the incredible view. The staff are nice and welcoming. The room was really disappointing- The bed was comfortable, but the furniture and bathroom were in great need of repair and updating. The way the room was organized was cramped crowded, and difficult to move around. There are few restaurants nearby and they generally closed by seven or 7:30 PM except for the restaurant at the Keltic Lodge which was a 10 to 15 minute drive from the property. It was an adequate stay in a beautiful location.

a disgusting motel. It should be condemned. Filthy room with cobwebs all over. Two useless table lamps in the room and an air conditioner that is uncontrollable and very noisy. We should be refunded!

Pros - the view if you were there during daylight hours, comfy bed Cons - pricey, not welcoming at check-in, previous guest left empty wine bottle in room that wasn’t removed, smoke alarm removed from room (is that even legal?), dated bathroom, difficult to open windows, too few open outlets to charge phones, blinds missing from window (just sheer curtain remains), worst breakfast potatoes I have ever had, barely edible eggs, didn’t even as how my stay was at checkout so that I could say anything (since the staff were gone at 8pm) Not worth your money! Definitely not a 4-star like advertised!

We enjoyed our stay at the Castle Rock Country Inn. The staff were mostly friendly. The housekeeper didn't seem in the best mood though as he said in passing that we would be charged an extra night since we were checking out late. I guess he didn't realize we were staying for two nights and not checking out yet. The view from our room was awesome. We could see the Keltic lodge area and peninsula. The free breakfast was nice esp the smoked salmon, but the pancakes were inedible. Overall this was a quaint property with good views and a convenient drive to restaurants.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Deluxe room has an awesome view of the bay. Simply but nicely decorated and quite comfortable. Morning breakfast is vey good. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.
