When you go to pull up to turn on the shower, the faucet almost comes off. It is way over priced for how nasty and dirty it is. I’m shocked it is called a candlewood suites.

We were apparently given a pet friendly room. There was a dog food in the floor. The whole room smelled like stale Cheetos…it was disgusting. If we hadn’t been in town for a huge concert we would’ve asked for a refund and found better accomodations

I have traveled over the USA since 1992 and this was one of the nicest venues I have stayed at. The bed was amazing - so soft and comfortable. I really liked the layout of the room particularly the big table that I could set my laptop up on in front of the TV. This was a wonderful surprise for me. The standard of the venue, the friendliness of the team and the cost effectiveness was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Hotel has been renovated since its original construction, but maintenance and cleanliness are clearly not a priority. We rented several rooms, one of which stank like a combination of spoiled fish and mildew. A/C unit was so loud you couldn't have a normal conversation when it was running. Faucet in the tub ran in a small, but steady stream that you couldn't stop. Another room has the same tub issue. Also, the dishwasher wasn't attached to the counter top and fell forward from the countertop when you opened its door. You're expected to empty your own trash cans as maids only do so on weekends. If you want clean towels mid week, you need to bring your dirty ones to the front desk and exchange for clean ones. Night clerk couldn't figure out the computer and took ten minutes to check us out on last day. Nice view of corn fields across the street and weed-covered lot in front of the building.

Location of this property was ideal for my husband and I. It is away from most traffic and all the busyness of the city, but it was just minutes to everything we could need or want to go to. The hotel staff was very friendly and quickly became friends. Although the hotel does have a "lending locker" which allows you to borrow small appliances, games, and such, the small appliances I tried to borrow had not been taken care of properly and were useless. The maintenance of the property also could use more attention. The door to our bedroom was damaged but still usable, areas of the wall needed repainted, water pressure was very low, and our toilet had a leak, rocked when you sat on it, and filled completely before it would go down. We constantly wondered if it was going to overflow. The market had a great selection of food items to purchase including frozen and refrigerated items but they were all highly overpriced. For the price of the room, you would expect to at least have a free continental breakfast but there would be no space for anyone to sit and enjoy it. The lobby was small with a tv and a couple of uncomfortable couches/benches. If the need were to arise again, I would probably stay but with a lot lower expectations. It is far from a top notch hotel, but it is also not a roach motel either. If you stay with the expectations of it being a lower middle class to middle class hotel, then your expectations will be met.

When we arrived- staff was vacuuming the lobby and didn't stop to check us in. We had to wait for them to finish. When we got to our room, we found 4 large dead bugs on the floor. Clearly wasn't vacuumed prior to our stay. When we went to get dishes for the food we were preparing- 3 out of 4 plates and bowls had food on them. Disgusting! When checking the bathroom- it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned either. There was also a layer of dust on everything and the beds were sloppily put together. I took pictures of everything and went downstairs to the front desk. They originally offered me points on my IHG account- later they offered to comp me one of the 3 nights. Clearly there's management and staffing issues. We will not be back to this location.

Everything is the bathroom was cheaply made and constructed. We felt the sink might come off the wall if leaned on. The water kept dripping after turning the shower off. Supposedly we were in a handicap room but it was a regular tub. Thank God we didn’t need a walk in tub. We did like the courtesy call. Unfortunately we didn’t experience the shower until afterwards. The desk people were nice and check in was easy but the room was put together cheaply. We will not stay here again. There are many nicer hotels in the area.
