Conveniently located near Penn Station, Herald Square, and Times Square, just two blocks from the Empire State Building. However, the lobby is very small and often crowded. The happy hour service left much to be desired, with limited drink options (only two well drinks) and unhealthy food choices. Additionally, the room floors were gritty and sandy, which was disappointing.

Disappointing
The best thing about the property is the location. So many disappointing things, where to begin. 1. They advertised separate sitting area, which suggests separate from the bedroom. This was a lie, and the room was small. 2. Requests to the front desk or housekeeping take forever to be responded to, and one has to call several times to ask for the same thing, if they answer the phone. 3. You had to request bottled water daily. Which was a small 250ml per guest per day. Quite ridiculous. 4. The breakfast was okay in terms of variety; however, the space was small and crowded, which no staff to seat you. 5. The staff at the front desk were nice enough, but as indicated very slow to respond to requests. 6. At 1:20am or so one morning, the fire alarm went off, and was blaring for about 20 minutes before the hotel's engineer came on the say it was a false alarm and guests should return to their rooms. Their was no explanation or apology, and the alarm continued for another 5 minutes after that. That was my first and last visit to this property.

The blanket was rough, there's slippers. Staff forgets our request for shower gel, i had to follow up thr next day. Otherwise, the place is conveniently located to nearby tourist attactions and close to subway.

Great location, 10-15 minutes walk to Time Square, Bryan Park, Subway, Penn Station and Empire Building. The room & bathroom are reasonable size. Breakfast is OK but the room usually really crowed and impossible to get a table- I always bring it back to the room. Ask for high floor if you are a light sleeper. Floor 6 still hear the traffic.
