Worst experience ever
Don’t have a lot of time but can’t let anyone else rent this property unaware. The home itself was bad enough. It was filthy (after 5 minutes my son asked why his socks were black), the “entire home” included rooms with signs that said we’d be in violation of our agreement if we opened door, which is fair if you actually lock the doors so kids don’t open them), smart devices in the home made you feel like someone was watching us the whole time (we covered one camera we noticed but have no idea if there were others) and the internet started as awful and then stopped working halfway through the week. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the limited interaction we had with the host was awful. When the internet went down we received a nasty text (still have the screenshot for proof) “demanding” that we plug back in his devices and restore internet to the property. When I replied that the internet didn’t work his response was just that he had done everything he could on his end and then disappeared for the rest of our stay. His initial demand was so unnerving that we didn’t even dare push him to deal with issues since we wouldn’t have any way of keeping him out of the property. To top it all off, he changed the door code at least 4 hours before check out time and we had to yell for 20 minutes for our child to get out of the shower to come open the door so we could finally clear out. No idea what the host thinks about us or what review he plans to leave, but I have evidence of everything mentioned above. If you rent this property you do so at your own risk
