We come for the beach, Hotel is not on the beach, but not too far from the beach. You could borrow the umbrella and chair from hotel, but very crappy. No surfing board or floater are provider.

This a a mid property. Room was clean, housekeeping staff was lovely and attentive, but really a nothing special property and pricy for the amenities. The $40 per day resort fee is insulting given there isn't much to the property- no grounds to speak of and only a VERY small swimming pool that as one would expect was filled to the brim with kids at all times. And note that a late check out will cost you $25 per hour regardless of the hotel bookings and housekeeping logistics. If you do decide to stay here, ask for a room away from the elevators- there is a very loud dinging sound that I could hear clearly in my room all night. This property is just ok. I would not chose it again.

Chaos an der Rezeption. Auch nach 15 Uhr wollte man uns noch nicht einschecken lassen. Wir bekamen nicht die Kategorie, die wir buchten. Sauber war unser Zimmer jedoch! Allerdings mussten wir auch am 1. Tag um Zimmerreinigung nach 15 Uhr "betteln", da nicht geschehen.

Our room was well worn and VERY noisy as it was located right at the hotel HVAC system outside our lanai. The noise from HVAC was so loud it was difficult to hear our TV.

It was ok.. location is excellent. Rooms are dated. Room didn’t have soap, shampoo when we checked in. Staff didn’t accommodate for late check out despite VIP status. For how expensive it is, expected the stay to be much better. But the location is definitely the highlight for the property. Very convenient and easy access to all of Waikiki.

Overall the property was good. It was close to the beach which is important to me. It was clean and I felt safe. The coffee shop was the highlight of my stay. I appreciated the coupons because it saved me some money for breakfast since everything in Hawaii is so expensive. The atmosphere was calming and pleasant. It was a great way to start my day! Some areas of improvement would be the following: Front desk check in should provide a little more information about the property. Although a small detail, I happened to stumble across the water cooler the last day of my stay which had both cold and hot water. I wish I had known that upon arrival. The activities office attendant was horrible. I don't remember his name but when I inquired about the Polynesian Center visit, he quoted a very high per person transportation fee. He told me to book online and brushed me off. He was too busy trying to go on his break. I ended up booking round trip transportation with the center for a very minimal fee. He never mentioned that and was not interested in helping me at all. It was an unsettling experience. Housekeeping came too early to clean. I had to put my do not disturb sign out so that she'd know to come back. Other than those items, I would recommend this hotel to others.
