The room carpet was very dirty and furniture was all scratched up and damaged. The property was very old and dated . it does smell like old property and dusty. I requested a room change after first night. They were not able to accommodate my request. They can change to upgrade with additional 300 per night. finally second day they are able to change the room, but the condition was pretty much the same. so if you asked me if I would stay there again, unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again. The property is beautiful, but the room condition is horrible. It’s not a five star.

I had an amazing experience at Khala resort. Do wish parents of rowdy kids would follow the pool rules and keep food out of the pools. I did not go in either of the three swimming areas due to loud, unruly children and their aloof caregivers. Luckily, a private beach on the Pacific Ocean is right next to the pool so that is where I took my relaxing dips during my weekend getaway.

Limited parking. Getting luggage to check in was interesting. Carried luggage up the stairs and rolled it along the uneven walkway into the hotel. Hotel has nice grounds but clearly dated. Although being beachside does cause endless corrosion. Staff and pleasant and appear to enjoy working there. Check in was quick. Room was very spacious with a nice golf course view. Loved the spacious bathroom and separate tub and shower. Appreciate the recyclable bag and umbrella. Checkout was seamless although I wish they would mention if parked in garage, you’ll be able to exit without the key. Great stay and will definitely stay again. Unable to use the facilities this time. Gym looked a bit too far (isolated) from the main hotel

My stay at the Kahala resort was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is located in a very quiet and established neighborhood. This gives you a feel of privacy and peace. The Kahala takes you away from crowds, noise and hustle. The hotel is perfect if your look for relaxed and comfortable stay. The stuff is great. The best part of it is the ocean and a beach. The beach is clean, not crowded and perfect for relaxing day. The Kahala is established and trusted resort, some might say it is old and needs renovation. All of this will be true. However it so well maintained and offers so much, so the rest doesn’t not matter. The only part that was upsetting is a dolphins. They are such an amazing creatures and it hard to see them suffer in a small space. They look loved, but not happy.

Having a rent car included was amazing! The ground around the villas is beautiful! The pool was clean and so relaxing. Beach access was 5 minute drive! The owners had all of the beach gear you would ever need and well kept too! The furniture was perfect and the kitchen was great. Would stay here again! Loved It!!!

The resort was amazing. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there Sunday thru Thursday so it was disapppointing that the Plumeria bar was closed Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings but we were thankful for the beach bar.
