Nice Hotel. Good Location. Dates Decor

The grounds are wonderful but the room we had was opposite the Ave. Friday to Monday loud music is playing until 3am. Wasn't not told about this on booking.

A wonderful magical, experience

All the staff, were very friendly, pleasing and attentive. The food was, delicious, vast variety, and well presented. The bar was faultless. I also enjoyed the gym facilities.

Looks Tired and Right next to major beach work

This was fantastic value for money, but the hotel is looking tired. Having to book in for lunch and dinner was a bit tiresome as when you're on holiday you don't always know at what time you want to eat, the whole point of us having a holiday is to get out of the regimented rut and being able to come and go as we please. The work that the government are doing on the beaches is directly in front of and next to the hotel, which was a massive shock not only because of the endless noise of the diggers (7:30 till 4 o'clock everyday including weekends) but also the way it looked if you want an idyllic beach holiday or if you think of Barbados and think of paradise do not stay at Mango Bay while these works are taking place. Because of the receding beach there is basically no where else to sit apart from round the pool which is a limited space so by mid morning all the beds had been reserved. Having said all of this the room that we stayed in was one of the best we have ever had as far as its location in the hotel - ground floor with direct access into the pool. My advice would be to check with the hotel to see if the works to the groins that are being put into the sea to help with the beach erosion is complete before you stay here. If it is then its great value for money and the staff are lovely making it an affordable and comfortable hotel in a great location on the west coast. If the works still going on be warned!
