Getaway!
We have been visiting HHI for 14 years and love Palmetto Dunes. This time just my husband and I came to relax after daughter’s wedding! Location was great. Just a short walk to beach. Condo was perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed. Danny was great to communicate with. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Host was excellent. Super quick response and information. Condo was very clean and comfortable. King bed was really comfortable. Very nice balcony overlooking a small pond with water fountain; nice landscaping. Short walk to the pool and beach. Very relaxing, quiet, and just what was needed for a long weekend. Will return. Unit was clean upon check in. Walk to pool and beach with gear while not "close" was manageable. A view of ocean instead of small pond would be ideal but those don't come cheap! Good communication with owner. Only negative was some hazy, old glassware. Owner could consider adding and upgrading to some new ones. Otherwise, nice place and love Palmetto Dunes!

Great private resort and location
Less crowded at this time of the year (end of august) with very warm ocean water, bike ride on the beach and nice park to visit (hike) and shopping near by (25 minutes). Funny enough, we saw more deers than dolphins, gators ans sharks! The pool was great as well, with very warm water. The vegetation is jaw dropping! Ginette and Daniel from Longueuil, QC, Canada.

Amazing stay
We’ve stayed in several condos at Palmetto Dunes but Barrington is maybe our favorite now. Beautiful condo, extremely clean, great updated furniture and appliances. No problems at all during our stay and easy to communicate with the owners. Thanks again!

This condo was perfect for two people and in a great location! It really is just a short walk to the beach and the pool. And Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful place and offers many activities and is close to restaurants, shops, and other things to do. Danny is an excellent host and made the check in easy. Very nice place, easy walk to the beach, private and quiet. We used the tennis/pickleball membership and the bikes provided with the condo. It would have been nicer if the pool was open and heated for more of our stay, and if the hot tub was functional. Appreciate Danny's responsiveness regarding pool options and hot tub issues, but would have liked some more forewarning about this possibility.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Great size for two people. Centrally located near all restaurants and destinations. We had wonderful weather. No rain and mostly sunny skies. A little disappointed that neither the pool or hot tub were open.

A Great Alternative to a Hotel Room
My wife and I were spending a week over Thanksgiving. We wanted to be near the ocean with some of the comforts of home and not confined to a hotel room. This property met all expectations. We had a nice bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed, a bath and a half, a walk in shower, a full kitchen with great appliances, a washer and dryer, a back porch overlooking a pond and the ocean was a 5 minute walk through the paths. It was perfect for us. We were able to make a pot of coffee in the mornings, walk the beach during low tide, visit our favorite local seafood restaurants for lunch, and stock our favorite appetizers in the refrigerator for cocktails at night. The owner was very helpful and accessible with information and it made for a great week. We truly enjoyed it.

Perfect!!
We had fantastic communication with Danny prior to our trip! Everything was excactly and better than we expected! My husband and son I enjoyed every minute! We were there for a ahort weekend for me to run the Hilton Half Marathon! The hot tub helped my soreness and we had it all to oursleves! The unit was super clean and had an awesome new w/d set!! We love Palmetto Dunes and can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Condo was nice and service was great. However, back deck was dirty and needs to be pressure washed. Sliding glass in living room needs to be replaced. Glass is fogged. Other than that it is a great place.

Barrington Park villa
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barrington Park. The beach was steps away, the grounds and the lagoon were beautiful. We also enjoyed relaxing on the porch and enjoying the scenery. The villa was decorated so nice and had everything we needed. Danny was a phone call away if we needed anything but we didn’t. We would definitely visit again as we love Hilton Head and Barrington.

Our top 5 reasons we love THIS place: 1) Danny, the owner, is very responsive to questions & problems. One of the best VRBO hosts we’ve encountered. 2) 2 Bikes & pickleball court time included 3) Extremely clean, tastefully decorated with updated features, very comfortable furniture 4) Both the large heated pool and hot tub are only steps from the beach. 5) Beautiful view from the deck Would have loved to stay longer than our two weeks . . . hope to return!
