The Hilton Schiphol is a very nice property that is basically connected to the airport. Easy to walk to the terminal. Rooms are very clean and nice.

Some good some average
It is a long walk 20 min after walking quite a way from plane to baggage claim from baggage claim ( tired from travelling) And signage wasn’t that great . However room was very clean and fairly Spacious. We were given access to concierge’s lounge for happy hour . Snack were very nice . View was of central hall so mostly had to have curtains closed as it looked across to other rooms . It took us 19 min from time we left our room till we were at security check in . They told us a taxi would be about 30 euro and take 20 min. The restaurant was very nice . Asian food with only other option a hamburger or Caesar salad . Tried salad just average . Burger was huge fries were good . They seemed to try hard .

A very well-run hotel with very quiet and comfortable rooms, taking all of the stress out of an early morning flight or late night arrival at Schiphol Airport. It is an easy walk down a pleasant corridor (with moving sidewalks) from the train hall inside the airport. Its Bowery Restaurant is nice or of course you have many choices inside the airport.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful - especially the lighting inside at night. Staff were lovely - especially the manager who did try his best to get the temperature issue sorted. However, the walk from the airport was very long with children, which is not how the advertisement made it look or sound. Also, the temperature could not be adjusted (it allows it to move by three degrees, but didn’t actually change the temp and registered temp number never changed), so we were VERY hot because temperature was set at heat on 21.9°C!! All food within the hotel was prohibitively expensive (sandwich €25 type expensive). So for families with children, it was not affordable. We got one kids salad €5, (which was a few pieces of lettuce and cucumbers, a couple of mozzarella pearls, and a couple of grape tomatoes), and a pizza for €12 which we were told by room service staff answering phone would be 18 inches. It was not even 8 inches!! Plus they charged €8 for a service fee to deliver the food and wouldn’t allow the option of us walking downstairs and collecting the food to not be charged. TV didn’t work properly - even after manager came to our room to try to fix it and the temperature issues. The room had a foldout bed for our third person, but it wouldn’t lay flat and springs could easily be felt through the thin mattress. We would never stay here again, and do NOT recommend it for families - especially on a budget. For nearly $300 for one night, I was sorely disappointed.
