The Space:
Ready to live your beautiful life at Bella Vita...By the Sea? This Best of the West first-floor condo at Pointe West has a spectacular view of the best beach in Galveston! Just steps from the dune walkover and a skip to the Beach Club! It was just renovated and is spectacular.

Perfect for up to 6 guests, with King size bed in the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and queen-size lower bunk and twin upper bunk and 2nd twin bed in the 2nd bedroom.  There are TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Fully equipped modern kitchen, washer/dryer, bath and pool towels provided, and all beds are dressed for your party. Bring the family, bring the wine, bring your camera! Come experience what paradise is all about at the Bella Vita...By The Sea.

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, first aid kit and there is even a wagon to help you unload your car.

Guest Access:
You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room. 

***AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration.

(You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. You can get free wristbands for use of the restaurant and bar.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a separate entity from Best of the West Galveston. Best of the West Galveston cannot guarantee the availability of any of the Beach Club’s amenities. Check the Pointe West Beach Club’s website for details.***

Getting Around:
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.

Other Things to Note:
**Elevators, WIFI, and cable can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but Best of the West can not guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay at Pointe West and we are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.**

Wasn’t worth the money spent. Place was clean and nice but the pool was extremely small and packed with people. Restaurant very small as well . Expected more , never been before but will not be going back either .

Our stay was great! The apartment was perfectly located right by the walkway to the beach. It was clean, and had everything we needed. There was even a small storage unit available for us to use, equipped with a wagon, beach chairs, beach toys and boogie boards. The property itself was really well maintained and the pool was a hit. They even had activities for kids throughout the weekend. The restaurant wasn’t open due to renovations but they brought food trucks to compensate. The owner followed up with us and made sure we arrived safely. It was the perfect trip, will definitely go back!

Perfect Getaway
Clean, quiet and safe! Easy access to the beach. GREAT wifi! I would recommend to anyone. I caveat my one recommendation by stating I am a very sensitive sleeper. The 2nd bedroom window could use a bit more covering due to the exterior lighting facing this unit. I remedied by making a makeshift "tent" using the upper bunk to drape the quilt over. Worked like a charm!

It was cute, clean and comfortable! I loved that there was a washer and dryer and some beqch toys and towels. I’d stay there again! Close to the beach and the pools were great. Only minor issue is top bunk was so squeaky no one could sleep up there but it wasn’t a problem for us.

We enjoyed the view in this home immensely. There was a maintenance issue that was not addressed prior to our arrival but James (the host) was quick to address that. There was not enough furniture to accommodate the guests if we were more than a party of 3. Furniture uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable which was nice. The resort left a great deal to be desired. Pools were smaller than depicted in photos. Pool water was murky in both pools. Would not revisit Pointe West

Love this location!
The condo was clean and fresh and comfortable. All bases were covered in terms of linens, soaps, kitchen supplies! I brought so much stuff with me that I didn't even need because of the thoughtfulness that went into the unit. We will definitely be back!
