It was good. The PIN code given to us initially was wrong and that was frustrating as we couldn’t get into the room. Thank god it was still working hours so we contacted the staff on telephone after a wait of 10minutes and got a new code immediately. Altogether it was a good place for the price.

I loved how accesible and clean the property was, the option of having no check in desk is quite smart and avoids a long time of waiting and standing around, only complaints would be that i got two single bed and the blinds were rather difficult to work but for 33 GBP cant find yourself a better bargain than this.

Das Zimmer zum Parkplatz war sehr laut, da Jugendliche die ganze Nacht laut waren. Beim nächsten mal wünsche ich mir ein Zimmer zur anderen Seite.

Wonderfully simple room and value for money during the Euros. Shutter window system pleasantly good once I worked it out. Slight complication getting into the room which was swiftly resolved. Simple check out system. Would use again!

Beds as hard as rock
The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, or rather tried to sleep in, as I barely slept because the bed was so bad. Furthermore the code we were given to our room was wrong, so we had to call to get the correct code.

It’s a bit out of the way of Essen town centre, but easy to get to once you work out the tram situation As the hotel is in a shopping centre you can, of an evening get youths playing football and cars Being drag raced at 4 in the morning. The room itself was excellent.

Dirty room, street race on the parking place. No service, impossible to contact office was standing 4 hours befor we find out how to come in, can’t park car after 22 a clock. Worst hotel in Europe

Hello anyone in
This place is not a hotel its do it your self. Everything is completed online. I didn't see any staff only the cleaner once and they didn't have the right towels. I only found the underground car by asking another guest.All the code entry doors were taped open anyone could have walked in. Would not stay at a Mcdreams hotel again.

It’s a bit far from centre, but it’s very quiet and near light railway. More nicer if you driving a car. Also it have market in ikea every Sundays. I love this area, because of the park around the hotel.

The place is great, clean and with convenient location. Check in is smooth. The only downside was that even the parking is free, they shut down the parking from 12 am till 6, meaning, if you are coming late from a party, you have to park outside risking getting a ticket, or if something urgent happened at night and you needed to take your car out, you can’t.
