Hard to give a true review because the power was out when we arrived. On that note they have NO backup generators therefore if you don’t have your own flashlight I’m not sure how one would find the stairs. 7am they were up working on the roof above our rooms. Not impressed

Booked for 2 nights. Beds are hard, pillows are almost flat. We left a note for our room steward to leave some extra coffee creamer and something to stir your coffee with in the morning (got nothing). Dirty coffee mugs left there. Asked for 2 extra pillows (got nothing). Bed was made very sloppy. They did not replenish the shampoo, makeup wipes. First and last time staying there.

1) The power was out when we arrived at 5 pm and we could not check in until 8 pm when the power came back on. Although that was beyond the hotel's control, we were not offered compensation or a free room upgrade on our next visit. 2) I forgot my toothbrush. Usually, you can get a complimentary toothbrush at all hotels I have gone to, however, none was available at the front desk. 3) They do supply toothbrushes at a vending machine in the lobby, however, the tooth brush supply in the vending machine was empty. This is a basic necessity recognized by most hotels, however, none was available at your hotel ... pretty poor service.

The power was out from approximately 5pm to 9pm, which was not the hotel's fault as it was more than an entire block out of power; however, there was next to no emergency lights. I was on the 3rd floor and using the stairwell to get to and from my room and there was no emergency lights at all except for one on the main floor by the elevator. Thank god for cell phones and their flash lights. I had gone to the front desk two times within the outage time and there was no one there either of the times. Im not sure if the hotel is equipped with generators or not, but they were not used during this outage. I had to leave the hotel to get supper which is fine, but upon returning, and for up to two hours or more after the power had come back on, there was no hot or even warm water at all. The room itself was reasonable, clean, and suited my needs completely fine. My main concern is that it did not appear that the hotel was well prepared for any kind of emergency or urgent situation. Later on, after midnight the power went out again for a few minutes, though I'm not sure of the cause of that. My main reason for booking was the restaurant, for room service, and to relax without having to leave, and a hot shower, but unfortunately, that was all a bust.

We've stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and I can honestly say this weekend was the last time we will be staying at this hotel. November 16, 2024, we stayed the night with our 5-year-old daughter, we went swimming at the pool it was a little cold, it could've been a little bit warmer considering we are in the winter months is Alberta. At around 11pm we started to hear music and bass vibrating through the hotel room. We didn't think anything of it and tried to go back to sleep, after repeatedly getting woken up time after time from the music and bass I called the front desk to see if they maybe had ear plugs (which they did not) I asked if there was a club around the hotel, then they proceeded to tell me there was an event happening in their conference room the music stayed at 11pm and lasted TILL 4:30AM!!!!!!!!!.We travel ALOT and this was one of the worst stays were ever encountered!!!! 1. Hotel failed to tell us this upon check in. 2. Didn't offer to move us away from the conference room. 3. Failed to compensate, didn't offer us free breakfast or discount for our room the next day when we asked how they will make this right. Terrible customer service, we will not be staying here EVER again!!!! save your money and sanity and don't stay here.
