Great hotel in a nice location
"For 5 friends visiting from the UK this hotel served its purpose well.
Positives:
- A great location in the old part of the city. Close to the harbour and museums.
- Breakfast was really good. Excellent choice of hot and cold food.
- The swimming pool and gym were brilliant and we used these during the three night stay.
- Friendly staff throughout the hotel.
- The hotel felt safe and in a good area.
Negatives:
- The rooms are a bit tired looking and both the bedrooms and en-suites need a refresh. However, the beds were very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our visit to Montevideo and the hotel added to that. The gym / pool facilities were very good and we made use of these daily. "
