Located in Lincoln Beach, South of Lincoln City, just minutes from Salishan Golf and Spa Resort and the whale watching capital of Depoe Bay, where whales come within a couple hundred feet of shore.

The beach entrance is right around the corner from the home (about 400 ft) and is one of the most popular surfing beaches in the area. The home features plenty of gathering space and privacy with a partial blue ocean view from master bedroom and sandy beach for miles.

The home features 10 bedrooms plus a private media room and 8 bathrooms with Continuous hot water assuring you never run low on hot water. All 13 queens/kings feature new luxury European pillow top mattresses and luxurious linens. No bunk beds or sofa beds in the home makes it perfect for reunions and corporate guests alike. No steps into the main level make it perfect for those with mobility issues as well.

The main level features 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, gathering room, huge kitchen, dining, laundry, swim spa and hot tub allowing guests with mobility issues to remain actively involved with the rest of the group and easily retire to their room only a few feet away when desired.

Gathering room features sofas, love seat, chairs surrounding a large gas fireplace and the 70 inch television making this home ideal for football games and holiday gatherings.

The kitchen/dining/gathering area is wide open for entertaining allowing your entire group to interact and entertain with plenty of room for everyone. The professional kitchen features a huge 16 foot quartz table/ island that doubles as a conference table with a full view of the gas fireplace and 70-inch television for meetings, presentations or sharing family videos.

Clean and well equipped.
Overall it was very nice and accommodated all our needs. We did have 3 small children in the group. The fact there were no screens on the upstairs windows is a hazard. For safety reasons, you really should get screens on them. Other than that, it was a great place to stay, and everyone I had contact with was very helpful.

Quiet location, large home
This was a beautiful home. We only rented one side. Opening the windows lets cool air come in, and you should keep your windows open at night. However, the people who rented the house next door were partyiers—talking loudly and drinking until midnight for the first few nights. This made it hard for people whose rooms were closest to leave their windows open for fresh air. The furniture was fine. The beds are soft, which I like, but everyone has a favorite bed type. My main complaint is the kitchen fan. It did not work. Joe (the staff overseeing the property) immediately sent a worker to address it. Unfortunately, the worker said it was broken and needed a total replacement (which would take some time after we left, given the required time to get a replacement). That meant every day, at every meal (2-3 times a day), the smoke alarms would go off when we fried food or used the oven. When we boiled water for noodles, it did not go off. Other times, it went off. I hope this is fixed as it was inconvenient. The trick to reduce the length of noise was opening ALL the windows on the 1st floor and the door closest to the backyard/patio. We also had someone stand close to the smoke alarm closest to the back door and fan it to reduce the time it would go off. If the fan is fixed and there are quiet neighbors, the walk to the beach is worth it. Note: the walk isn't safe for someone with mobility issues as the area is currently being cared for to prevent erosion.

Christmas getaway
Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our large group of adults. The kitchen and large eating area was great. The living area was not large enough for the occupancy of the house. Fireplace did not work. Another table for smaller groups to play games would have been nice. Beach access was not great. Neighborhood ok. Property manager was outstanding and always available and helpful.

Enjoyed the large house with plenty of bedrooms. A few problems… many screens missing on upstairs windows and we needed to open windows for ventilation. PM didn’t respond to my text. Kitchen missing baking sheets to use in oven and ovens would not heat to desired temp. Took forever to warm things in oven. Beach access was a challenge for some of our family. Yard was very smaller than I thought it looked from pictures. We loved the instant hot water, hot tub, and warm water outside to wash off feet after the beach.

Family reunion siblings and their spouses.

Mostly good experience but swimspa unit not able to adjust temperature so I couldn’t do my daily physical therapy and hot tub part dirty and cloudy. Several items needed for meal preparation were not available such as a lime juicer. Many small items broken (pool sticks, window shades, master fireplace, oven).

We loved the house. Super close to the beach. But it showed the location in the middle of lincoln city. When it's actually in depo bay. That is our only complaint. Very clean and super nice.

Impressive
From walking in the front door and seeing the breathtaking view of the ocean to the spacious areas to gather for meetings and meals , our group was hooked. They all want to come back for our next leadership retreat to this same spot. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to provide privacy and an open game area to take on the competition.

Because of COVID-19 we didn't know if we could even go, the people at VRBO of course wanted us to go and didn't get back to me about refund. We went and there were no problems. Hope none of our family tests positive. The refrigerator not working was disappointing.

Great for family get togethers!
Nice property with plenty of privacy given the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Roomy, comfortable, and clean. Note-one dishwasher wasn't working but parts have been ordered, per maintenance, but it was not noted so we had it completed loaded and then had to empty it. We had 19 people and it was plenty of room. The pool table and hot tub/swim spa were awesome to keep people busy. Downside is no beach view and beach access for older or mobility challenged persons is difficult. There are a lot of nearby beaches to go to with good access, however. We would stay here again.

Great for large groups
Every year my family goes to the Oregon coast for a long weekend together. We used to stay at a house that was quite large, right on the ocean, with windows all across the front. We missed that feeling of being right there, but the walk was not hard. This house definitely has plenty of space. It also has a pool and hot tub which came in very handy for the kids; we didn't have to all walk to the beach every day for the kids to be able to have s one fun in the water. The kitchen is enormous, and well stocked. It is where we hung out for games and socializing, as the actual living area was not large enough for everyone. This house does NOT have air conditioning. Normally this isn't a problem; it just happened to be a rather warm and humid weekend when we went. We would go again; primarily for the size and number of bedrooms.

The street was in bad condition but the access to the ocean was very good. Large number of rooms and the large size of the Kitchen were very functional. Liked the hot tub and swim spa!

Great for Big Groups; needs some tweaks
Held a 45 year fraternity "old-folks" reunion here. Overall it was GREAT for our large group. The layout is really nice for so many, and does provide privacy as needed. Lots of hot water; plenty of space for gathering in small, medium or large groups for chatting. The deck was fun for games & sunshine. Needs some attention as follows: For a house that held 20, weird to only have 4 swim size towels for the spa. And only 6 wine glasses. We bought more and left them there. Used the grill on the deck but ran out of propane, & the spare was empty! Borrowed one from the sister house next door; but should have been checked before we got there. The light & fan on the cook-top gas stove did not work; not good! and also contributed to the smoke alarms going off a lot. Fixing the fan would help a lot. Don't recall any instructions about the recycling, so we trashed all bottles & cardboard. The hot-tub was a bit cloudy and foamy; seemed weird. Considering the considerable extra fee imposed for this, should be more welcoming. BIG DEAL for us: none of the TV's had proper remotes so they were basically useless. Our entire reunion revolved to a great extent around a slide-show video we planned to show in the living room. No way to do that without the proper remote & ability to link in. After several calls, Joe sent a guy from the cable co. in (late the next day; a couple hrs before our big event) but he couldn't solve it either. So... we went to Walmart in Newport & bought a new 50" TV to make sure we could pull off our event as planned. A little extreme perhaps but it worked. Rather disappointed we couldn't get the landlord to resolve this. And where are all the Insignia remotes? (locked up somewhere in the owners closet?). The long table that seats 22 was awesome for group meals. (But it is way too close to the stove and counters; needs to be moved out a foot or so; really cramped the people cooking and sitting; AND it's a hazard! Several people scooting by inadvertently turned on the gas with their buns without knowing it while brushing by. Beware!). ALSO: the location on vrbo shows an actual address (and map) in Lincoln City. It is dead wrong. Very disturbing to find out we were actually 8-10 miles down the road instead. Seems the landlord/owner or VRBO could do something about that easily. All that said, we had a great group vacation, and would consider staying again if issues are dealt with.
