Summary:
Discounted price for the last week of ski season!!!!! Come enjoy the fresh snow at CB and a discounted price. The only way to wake up closer to the lifts is to sleep on the chairlift. A beautifully remodeled Ski-In, Ski-Out Condo, literally steps from the Silver Queen lift. Nobody on the ski hill will be closer to the lift. Great for mountain biking in the summer, being near the concerts in summer, and skiing in winter. Sleeps four, in two separate rooms, with a bathroom in each room. Balconies looking at the ski hill, hot tub on property, and laundry in the unit.

The Space:
If you are looking for lodging in Crested Butte in the main ski village on the resort, this is the place for you. The only way to wake up nearer the ski lifts is to sleep on the chairlift. But I can assure you this place is much, much more comfortable. Sleeps four, in two separate rooms. Both rooms have a separate bathroom & shower. Has laundry facilities in the unit to warm up your clothes each morning. There is a hot tub with the most amazing mountain views. Has two balconies, one off each room, looking at the mountain. For mountain bikers this is nirvana, wake up five minutes before the lift opens & stroll on over. In the fall the leaves changing color are right outside your window. For skiers, nobody will be closer to the lift than you. The après ski festivities are in the building around the corner. Stroll the resort for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Kitchen is fully stocked with flatware, dinnerware, cookware, microwave, & oven (even coffee). This unit has been recently remodeled and it is gorgeous. Walk up two flights of stairs from the ski lift side. This will be a stay you will not forget. City of Mount Crested Butte License number 302954. One parking space abutting the building as part of the package.

We love our fur babies too, but this is a no pets complex.

For your check-out, there is nothing you need to do with Crested Yeti. We keep it simple, you're on vacation not cleaning duty.

Can't get closer to the lifts! That's good and bad.

Overall, it was a great ski vacation, and the proximity to the lifts made it a remarkable trip. We are happy we stayed at this condo and had this experience, but I don't think we'd do it again. Why? The condo was incredibly noisy. The family next to our door had young children and a baby, and it sounded like the crying and screaming was coming from inside of our condo. The constant crying was unnerving. And it's not the baby's fault, nor the parents' faults- it's just that there is essentially no sound-proofing. We also heard people above us stomping around and dropping what sounded like 300lb weights on our heads. The worst part, though, was hearing the grooming right outside our bedroom windows every night between 2-4am. The grooming machine makes a horrible "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP" sound like a delivery truck backing up right into our room. It made sleeping tough while it was happening. Other than that, there was hair in the shower, and lots of dirt and dust on floorboards and in corners. This isn't a dealbreaker, but it makes me wonder how well anything is cleaned and sanitized between groups. I am not 100% sure the comforter and blankets are washed between occupants either. And the bedding itself could use a solid upgrade.You really are paying for the proximity to the lifts, which like I said, is great!Other plusses- the kitchen has all of the essentials (the coffee maker is a drip maker in case that matters). The bed is comfortable too. And there's a humidifier.

Quick Trip to Crested Butte

I decided to do a quick solo trip to Crested Butte and found this VRBO. Location was excellent, right next to the lifts. Couldn’t have been closer! The condo had everything I needed for a fantastic stay. The communication with management was spot on. I will be returning to this VRBO every time I return to CB. This is how VRBO should be done!

Ideal location and view to Ski School/Base Lifts

This property was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids). Both kids attended ski school which was merely steps from the door. Balcony from room had clear view of ski school as well. Pullout couch for kids is memory foam and comfortable. Easy walk from building to shuttle pick-up to get downtown CB. Would stay here again.

Made the trip from Vail for a big mtn comp for our son. We’ve stayed in the Axtell bldg a few times. You can’t beat the access, steps from Silver Queen. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Great weekend in CB! 5*s!

Ski In/Out in Comfort!

The property was amazing - so convenient to the lifts with easy access to the resort restaurants as well as those in town with either a short drive or by taking the shuttle. The two (electric) fireplaces added ambience and quick warmth when coming off the mountain. We definitely spoiled ourselves by staying at this property, but felt it was a good value as well with the extra time-to-ourselves based on the location. Loved it!

Lovely stay

You cannot beat this condo's location! You step out and are at the base of the mountain. Easy access to the Mt Crested Butte village amenities. Unit was as described and we had a lovely 3 night stay. Unit is well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. If you're short (I'm only 5 feet tall) note that the bathroom sinks, although beautiful, are a challenge. Overall, great unit.

Great basecamp for enjoying CB

Nicely updated and stocked condo with a super comfy king bed. Windows/balconies have great views of Mt. CB and still feels private especially in the evenings because the building across the way is a kids' day camp and the camp's offices, so no one is there at night. 2 full baths makes this place great for 2-4 people if some guests are ok sleeping on the couch/sofabed. Only complaint was that the unit was not thoroughly cleaned...hair from previous guests still on bathroom shelves and outdoor furniture needed a thorough wipe down. All in all this is a great spot to call home for a few days when visiting CB...would book again!

Location amazing, modernized finishes, however lot's of challenges in unit with basic fixtures, including pull out couch was damaged and a real challenge to get out in place each day; toilet paper and bathroom holders were loose; barn door for master bathroom would not stay shut. Besides the pull out couch, all were minor issues but the HOA that manages the property won't return our damage deposit of $250. If you stay here document all issues upon arrival so you to don't get screwed by the management company.

The unit has recently been remodeled so it feels new. The pictures do it justice. You could not get any closer to the lifts and the town bus is also nearby. It is up stairs with no elevator, but that was not a problem except for our initial arrival and final departure. Our hosts answered all questions quickly and efficiently. They are genuinely interested in the quality of your stay.
