After spending dreamy days lounging on the sand or by the sparkling shared pool on-site, you can walk home to relax on your balcony and watch the sunset over Lake Padre. As you enter, you'll be greeted by newer tile in the foyer and the hall and a full kitchen with everything you need to whip up tasty meals and entertain, as it seamlessly opens into the living and dining areas.

There were a few cosmetic issues but the biggest issue was how hard the bed was. We couldn’t sleep at all. We had to go and buy an air mattress. The futons they have for couches are just as uncomfortable. You can’t hardly sit on them much less sleep on them. The only reason we needed this place was for somewhere to sleep and it’s kinda sad we really couldn’t even do that without having to go out and buy an air mattress. The bed was awful. The pillows they provided were just as bad. Cheap pillows from Walmart that were hard as rock and flat as cardboard. The dishwasher was insanely loud. My daughter is autistic and it scared her. I’ve never heard one so loud. It sounds like it needs to be replaced. The carpet in the hallway at the bathroom door has been all ripped up I guess from an animal so if you’re not careful you’ll step on the tack board that’s at the bathroom door. That hurts. There were pee stains (I’m assuming) on the carpet from other dogs. There was no extra bedding like they said they provided. Kitchen utensils were horrible. I made a pizza and couldn’t even cut through it with the knife they had. No pizza cutter available. The lockbox on the door has been damaged by the salt water and needs to be replaced. We had the hardest time working it but when we arrived to check it the lock box was unlocked and so was the door. I did express all this after our stay but never heard back from the company. The biggest issue is honestly the bed. It’s the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever laid on. It would’ve been better to sleep on the floor honestly. We got zero sleep. That should really be the first thing that’s replaced. They make enough to do so. They charge enough for this place. I probably would’ve gotten more sleep at the motel down the street.

I don't like the company that owns this property.
Booking this property on Vrbo caused me to recieve double fees. Both VRBO fees and a whole other set of fees the Owner charges because they have their own booking infrastructure and yet still advertise on a third party, but don't eat the third party fees! I actually payed under $200 for the rental but close to $400 in fees!! I will not rent a property through this owner ever again. On top of that, they called me and said my pet fee wasn't sufficient and charged me more money the day before my vacation!! Also, room ok but found a pile of long hair under my pillow the first night. I will be more careful to only rent from private owners in the future and not corporate owners. I've been vacationing in corpus the last four years and this was by far my worst experience.

Great location, but not clean
The property is in a great location, close to everything. The condo itself was nice, but it was not clean. I liked how it was also pet friendly and they provided extra beach towels for us to use. The furniture needs to be updated, as the couch had rips and tears, blinds were missing and shoved in the pantry, holes in the shower, linens for the bed were not clean, and there were stains all over the walls and furniture. Whoever rented and cooked in there before us, left their dirty dishes in the cabinets. I would not mind staying here again, as long as it was cleaned properly.

Good location, not very pet friendly.
Good location to beaches, restaurants. Condo is not very "dog friendly " as for potty spots. All decorative rock. Any grass you do find is more sand and grass burrs. The condo was clean but had a very significant pet urine smell as soon as you walked in the door. It was almost enough to cancel, but we were basically only sleeping there, planned to be away all day during daylight hours. The patio was nice but their is really no "water view". You're looking at other condos and parking lot/street. The bedroom window has blinds and a curtain but really needs black out curtains as there is an outside light that keeps the bedroom pretty bright all night. This was the 1st condo I've ever stayed at that had no complimentary coffee, sugar etc. So if you're a coffee drinker bring some. They did leave extra beach towels and some laundry soap, which we didn't use but it was a nice gesture.

The sleeping situation was awful (short fold down futon and horrible mattress in the bedroom) but besides that, it was basic and what we needed, excellent for night or early morning walks on the beach

Communication is key
The TV was shutting off by itself every few minutes. After trying different things to keep it from shutting off, I contacted the property management company. They assured me that they would send someone out. They never did. They were going to replace the TV and never did. I didn't hear anything from them after that. I probably won't be booking anything with Vacasa in the future.

Beach vacation
It was a great vacation. Very close to the beach (5min walk). Beach was clean and not to crowded, water was beautiful as well. The apartment was clean and we had all we needed. It could use a new better sleeping place in the living room. The sofa was to small for two people and uncomfortable especially since we had our kids sleep in the bed room (we had a camping bed with us, so we were totally fine and still loved the apartment). The living room is big and the private balcony was a wonderful breakfast eating experience. Overall we loved our 5 day stay. ❤️❤️❤️

Not a 5 star resort but very comfortable.
Don’t let the outside of the building scare you off. Could use a little tlc, but the inside is clean and cozy. No Wifi? No problem, It was great to be able to “unplug” and enjoy time off. The cleaning crew should pay a little more attention to the details, we found some “paraphernalia” in one of the cabinets. Someone is going to be upset when they get home 🙀! Overall a great place for the price.
