My stay was short but the Greatest Ever! I was there because my daughter had surgery at Northwestern, and complications developed just afterward because of Fear for my child and not being able to drive at night. I searched for a place to stay. I found this place on Hotels.com. The price was unbelievable! And one the Mag-Mile. I quickly reserved the room for that night and checked out the next day. Along with the extra fee to keep the room because I did not know when she was going to my stable to leave her. By the time I was able to get to the hotel, it was some hours late in the evening. The same day I reserved, so before midnight, I went to the check, and the very nice young man told me my reservation for the following day and check out the day after. The desk clerk suggested I call Hotel.com and see what happened and what they could do. I explained to the agent everything. The system must have changed since I made the reservation late evening. He tells me I signed up for check-in the next night. I reminded him; No, I made reservations for tonight, checking and out tomorrow morning. I'm in a wheelchair, and I live in Wisconsin. I will not make a reservation for the next day, knowing I'll go home in the morning. I need a place to stay tonight. He checked and told me they had a room but not the one I signed up for, which would cost $35 more. I had no choice but to pay for it. The agent placed me on hold while he called the hotel. Will never stay there again was very disappointed. When you get there they add a charge of almost $100 for 6 waters and a coupon book. Then i ask when does restaurant open they don't have a restaurant or bar, i just couldn't believe how rude some of the staff was to other guest. Yeah never again it was a horrible experience.

The location was convenient to Northwestern Hospital. The room did have a Mini refrigerator and microwave. The advertising for this hotel is inaccurate. I expected a lounge to relax in but learned upon checkin the lounge is still there but is now closed. Replaced with 24 hour access to Keurig coffee makers. My wife called the front desk at 9pm for extra pillows and the person who answered told her 'no' we won't have any pillows until housekeeping comes in the morning. What???? This is the first time I have been refused extra pillows, absolutely unacceptable for a hotel! The hotel rooftop is a joke. The rooftop has no services, just chairs that don't provide anything to "view". I will not stay at this hotel line again and I would not recommend this hotel line. Definitely don't get your money's worth!

There is a substantial "guest benefit fee" that's not disclosed on Expedia and the hotel won't remove. Also -the room rate charged on Expedia was significantly higher than the rates others were paying for this hotel. Overall, the cost far exceeded the value.

Magnificent stay
Great location and very freindly staff. The pullout couch was not comfortable at all. Don't plan on sleeping on it. The king bed was very comfy and the room was spacious. Roof top terrace is nice with great views.

The hotel itself was nice. The issue I had is with the charges. Hotels.com advised that I would need to pay $137.08 at the hotel in addition to what I paid hotels.com. The hotel actually charged $253.03!!! For that amount we were given 6 bottles of water and 6 cans of pop. What a rip off!!!!! Do not stay there!
