A Great Stop!
It was a very nice unexpected stop for us. The hotel was in a nice location with many restaurants and stores within a drivable distance. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Would recommend again.

Our stay was fine. I don't think the hotel is in the very best condition of all of the Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at, but our stay was entirely acceptable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They probably should purchase some new bedsheets.

The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood across from a police station. I have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy my stay. It's a bit outside of the touristy areas of Chicago, but still close enough without feeling too far from all the attractions. The rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable, and housekeeping is usually around if you need extra towels.

Maybe this was only on the top floor, but the hall was uncomfortably warm though our room was fine. Perhaps related to that, it was difficult to get any cool or cold water. We had to have the shower control almost all the way to cold for it not to be hot, and there was just no such thing as cold water from the tap.
