AWESOME people / AMAZING experience!!
Stay was just amazing from check in to check out!! Mya at the front desk went above and beyond during check in and even suggested a place for breakfast, it was called Wildberry and it was delicious. My friend was impressed that room service not only came in and cleaned our room, but straightened out my shoes and tidied up my toiletries and everything that was NOT in the suitcase, LOL! We ordered room service a couple of times and drinks at the bar, and even though we were there for a fairly large event, the wait times were not so bad. The valet at the door were extremely friendly each time we came and went, the bell hop held our luggage due to our flights were later in the day. We got an early check in and a late check out. EVERYONE was friendly. We were there for the Brian Culbertson Chicago jazz getaway and it was fabulous!! At no point during the trip were we disappointed—we would definitely stay at Fairmont Millenium again. Thank you one and all for a wonderful experience. BTW, Chicago has the BEST skyline I have ever seen!

The hotel is dated , dark and old!! The lobby and lobby bar should be imploded and given a well needed facelift!!! Dark and dingy lobby interior! My first room was unsatisfactory, and I upgraded to the floor with concierge service and had been recently upgraded. The food in the concierge lounge was ok, but come on eggs made from powder!!! Disgusting!! Staff in the concierge level were very nice!! Location was good!!! But would not stay there again!

Random charges are added to your stay. Staff at check in unfriendly. Try to upcharge and negotiate you to get their rooms instead of just checking you in for the rooms you want. Definitely would not stay. Supposed to be a five star hotel felt like a 3 star.

Immediately from check in, I was liking this place. Hotel bar and coffee were good. Had consistently great service from the staff. This is an excellent location to see the city or attend a conference like I was.

All I can say is thank hod for their incredible staff and in particular the amazing Mr.Tim who really made the trip. I say this because I am a frequent Fairmont costomer and have never seen such terribly outdated rooms! The furniture reminded me of boarding school some 40 years ago and even the spectacular views could not help! Once Tim heard of our distress he immediately stepped in and did everything to ensure the rest of the days we would be happy including changing our room and offering us access to lounge. All in all if you don’t mind about room aesthetics; the he hotel is well located and the views are incredible.
