It needs a refresh. Worn flooring, a persistent deisel smell in the central stair. The breakfast was ok- rubbery pancakes, for instance. While the site claims room service there is none.

I liked the room and the quietness except there was a strange smell , the kind you smell in an old building; I wasn't sure if it was from the carpet. But I would stay there again if I am in the area.

My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. And I do not take for granted that the Crabtree and Evelyn products included in the bathroom were of a much higher quality than I am used to when traveling at this level of hotel. Oh and it was a nice touch to be greeted by infused water, warm cookies and complimentary coffee!

Totally 1980s. Sticky carpet, we spent 3 nights in this hotel and not once did housekeeping come. I thought Doubletree would be a higher quality chain. I was so wrong. The first night we checked in late and upon opening our room door the wreak of pot smoke almost knocked us over. It didn’t seem to surprise the front desk clerk.we smelled it in the hallway every night. Never again!!!

This is a very nice place. Real wood furniture. Very clean and high quality. The only thing I dislike is that the shower was narrow and to turn it on you have to get a blast of cold water. I would highly recommend this and would stay there again
