Amazing. Stayed here for one night for a concert at the stadium. Great location and they upgraded us ( 3 ) to a family suite. Very nice staff and lovely hotel. Will defo stay again x

Hotel is a bit dated but staff and breakfast very good. Asked for first floor room but given room on 3rd floor and this morning neither lift was working which caused a problem for my husband.

We have stayed here many times , but were so sad to see the poor state of the hotel this time. Wallpaper peeling off walls, ‘splash’ stains up the walls, out of order lifts, and an absolute lack of parking. No real advice was offered as to where we could park, and my husband ended up parking quite far away…… The room was perfectly clean, as was the bathroom, but the poor condition made it feel ‘grubby’ The breakfast was excellent, and everything was well presented. Upon check-out we found the receptionist to be rude, but when I returned to pick up our case they were very very friendly-maybe they were having a bad day!! Will probably not look to stay here again, as I feel this beautiful hotel needs a bit more care then is given

Great hotel in a perfect location

We had a lovely one night stay at the Angel - everything was perfect - friendly helpful staff, comfortable, super clean room with lovely toiletries and a great breakfast. The location is perfect too for all city centre amenities. We went to the New Theatre which was a 10min stroll away. We will definitely stay again when we are next in Cardiff
