This is an old run-down hotel, where corporate ownership is not investing a penny. Very bad, everything old, looks dirty, maybe is dirty; don’t stay there! Many steps, no elevator, room totally run down, old stuff, bathroom from the 18th century; No heat in the room! Staff is trying a little bit, without change of the actual situations. Asked for a cappuccino at the bar; answer: the coffee is frozen, maybe later. 6 hours later; answer: the coffee still is frozen, machine can’t make coffee products. This shows the attitude from the majority of the people. Avoid at all cost!! There are so many other, better options around.

Lovely hotel near to everything . Staff were very friendly only 2 faults I have was the lift was out of order and goin up 3 flights of stairs was not a laughing mater especially with bad knees . And the room never had a loo brush n holder

The Staff were so friendly and helpful, the minute I got there, my luggage was carried up for me , I was made very welcome. The room was great, clean & comfortable. Also the breakfast was very good, a good array was on offer and very satisfying. I would definitely stay again and would happily recommend.

Excellent welcome, spacious room with good internet. Bathroom could do with an upgrade but shower hot & everything worked fine. Nice plentiful breakfast all hot. Great location & always look to stay when in Cardiff. Very reasonable rates too.
