Overnight stay
Booked the deluxe suite which we thought had a settee but only a table and 2 chairs. Room nice enough though. Reception staff friendly and effective with easy check in. No one serving in bar area , had to go to reception to ask someone to serve us and despite putting a call out no one came we gave up in the end and left. Overall nice hotrl in good location and would book again as reasonably priced

We always try and stay at The Angel when we go to Cardiff. It is central for shopping and entertainment. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are clean, bright and comfortable.

Had an upgraded room with a view of the castle which was nice. The building is looking a bit tired, however I believe it was fair value. It was clean and service were polite and friendly. Great location for me

We booked The Angel Hotel, due to it central location close to Cardiff Castle and Sophia Gardens where we had booked to see The Bohemians - Queens Greatest hits. First room we were given had a problem with the heating but after reporting it the deputy manager came in 10 minutes to move us to another room. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Excellent value £55 B&B. Breakfast was good and hot. Wife asked if they had vegetarian sausages and it was no problem. Nice and tasty and not too long a wait.

I just love The Angel, its old, quirky and unique. Beds and bathroom spotless Only one tiny thing, desk was dirty and bin hadnt been emptied. But didn't make a difference to my stay. Wr will be back 😊
