Great Cabin, Maintenance Lacking
Had a getaway weekend the cabin was great but needs some maintenance (just little things). Close to Mountainfork Brewery which is great. Fireplace was great.

I would not choose to rent this cabin again.
The beds were uncomfortable. The bedding hadn't been washed, the sheets smelled like body odor not laundry detergent. The hot tub barely functions, it has two jet settings, and neither of them are strong. The remotes to the ceiling fans didn't have batteries in them, and none of the backs on any of the tennis lremotes throughout the house actually stayed on the remote. But the biggest problem was the sheets being dirty, that's just gross. The primary toilet in the place didn't flush properly which meant all the kids had to go to the bathroom in the adults master suites. One of which didn't have q shower curtain liner so everybody had to use one shower in a 3 bathroom cabin. This is my 7th year in a row going to broken bow cabins and this was by far the worst one that we have stayed in.

Had a Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed. Super clean except for spiderwebs. Mostly on the outside but just a couple inside. But it’s a cabin in the woods. Only issues were pretty minor. First was only one set of batteries were good out of 4 tv remotes. The next is just a personal preference I guess. The mattresses were a little thin and hard for us and the pillows were really flat. We just prefer a thicker mattress and bigger pillows so it’s something to think about if that’s important to you. Had a buck and a doe walk right by us as we were sitting on the back porch! Very cool. Overall it was a great time and great location!!

Nice cabin but needs updating
The property itself is beautiful but it’s quite overdue for updates to things like linens and kitchen items. Several things didn’t work well (or at all), such as the keurig and kitchen faucet. The pillows were shameful and all the bedding was low quality. Also, the excessive number of huge spiderwebs was pretty gross. It was our second time at this property, and it just needs some TLC to refresh the things that get a lot of heavy use in such a busy rental. We were a bit disappointed this time around.

Beautiful Cabin!
The cabin was beautiful and just perfect. It had everything you need, well equipped kitchen, space, and cozy rooms. We were a big family group and fitted just fine in the 4 bedrooms. We are definitely coming back in summer time.

Nice cabin but terrible owner
We arrived at our cabin on a Tuesday and the kids wanted to get in the hot tub. We quickly realized it didn’t work. I contacted the owner via the number provided. I called, text and emailed with no reply. I tried again on Wed and Thur but again, no response. I don’t understand how the check in email I received provided a number for assistance but no one answers that number. My guess is the cabin is for sale and the owner doesn’t have any to deal with any maintenance that may be needed. The outside of the cabin including front porch and back porch is covered in cob webs. I would not recommend this cabin.

Too many issues
Dirty, light bulbs out, internet went down 2nd day never got it fixed, hot tub half jets didn’t work from beginning then the control board went out on 2nd day and they couldn’t get it working so it was a hot bath tub, beds not good, humidity level In house was at 70% +or - 5 %, kitchen range was malfunctioning so you couldn’t run oven and stovetop at the same time. I typically don’t leave reviews but my friends and family were adiment that I send a review and request some money back.

Nice cabin overall. We arrived with cleaning crew running around like crazy, and if I had to guess, they hadn’t been there all that long. They were racing to clean floors and told me that a “pod” got stuck on a bedsheet and they had to rewash it. No problem but when I took the items from the dryer there were blue stains all over the item, not likely from a pod. Hot tub was not drained, as stated it would be in book, and smelled of mildew. We added chemical and it might have simply been that it was little older, not sure, but I felt like draining might help. Overall the house was pretty clean- only note is that the fan in living room is so dusty it looks like fur on it- it’s been there awhile. Kitchen is very slim on items, plenty of plates and cups, but slim on pots/pans and can openers, spatulas, etc. Everyone was nice, check in was easy, the cabin is a good layout, the bedding was clean. Just not as nice as many of the other cabins we’ve stayed in the area.

Family Vacation
The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Instructions for how to use the appliances were available in a booklet by the door. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was spacious and exceeded the description in the advertisement. The check-in and out procedures were detailed in the email we received. We didn’t have to contact guest services for anything because we were provided with everything we needed. THIS WAS THE BEST VACATION EXPERIENCE EVER!!

This place was amazing!
We enjoyed our stay here at the Trail Mix cabin so much! It had everything to accommodate our big family with 7 adults and 2 children. Chelsea was very kind and always was quick to answer or respond when we contacted her with questions. The inside was clean, things were easy to find, and the guide book at the entrance gave us a lot of neat places to visit and activities to do. The cabin and customer service was 10/10. We will DEFINITELY be back in a few months and can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you for everything!

Great cabin
Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area. Comfortable beds and great amenities. Had issues with starting the fireplace inside but resolved quickly (someone came and started it for us while we went to dinner). Then it went out again and no response was given from the contact number after it was brought to their attention. Outside fireplace and hot tub were excellent. Plenty of room for 10 people in cabin. Only issues we had were slow (or no) responses when issues occurred. Unit was set on heat with a locked code. Took 6 hours for contact person to respond with 2 requests to the issue. Perfect cabin but a “how to use amenities” book would be helpful when renting. (Fireplace, a/c unit, and stove). *Discovered how to use stove in paperwork in a drawer after looking around for a while (induction stove). Probably would not rent same cabin again because of the slow response time with inquiries.

Clean and perfect size cabin for two families
We had a great time and the cabin was clean and pretty. Only thing is we needed a warning there was a drop off in the road- scraped the bottom of our cars.
