The Neighborhood:
Shock Hill is one of Breckenridge’s most preferred neighborhoods. The unique area of Shock Hill sits between town and the base of the ski area with unbeatable access to Peak 7 & 8 with quick walking access to the mid-point gondola station. Because there are a limited number of homes in this area, visitors who stay in Shock Hill will avoid the crowds and enjoy the mountain without lines or hassle. Utilize the gondola access for a convenient ride to town for shopping or a meal. A fun side-note. The owner of this property won a contest when the gondola was being built and was honored with naming it the "Breck Connect Gondola"!
Getting Around:
Please note: The Breckenridge Gondola opens for the Winter season right around November 8th every year and operates daily from 7:45am to 5:30pm during winter months. The gondola does also not run end of April to mid June during moose calving season. The gondola reopens mid June and runs through Labor Day weekend. The hours of operation during the summer are 10am to 5pm. The gondola is free to ride for everyone. You do not need a pass.
Other Things to Note:
Once the reservation is confirmed and the first portion of the payment has been made, those funds are non refundable. The remaining balance will be due thirty days before your arrival. Once the balance is paid, that portion is also non-refundable. If the ski area shuts down or a public health order prevents us from hosting you during your reserved time, you will be eligible for a full refund or will be able to reschedule. Relax in the hot tub or around the fire pit while taking in breathtaking views of Peak 7 and 8. Watch the snow fall from the large picture windows and light and bright great room. Enjoy the well supplied kitchen open to the living area while you warm your toes with the in-floor radiant heat. This home features a washer and dryer, wireless internet, and a private heated garage with plenty of ski storage.
