Nothing special , but a very good hotel for a touristic Berlin trip - just a minute or two walk off the usual tourist tracks , therefore a hidden gem, nice and quiet.

Really liked this property, only thing is and I think that it would be the same staying anywhere in Berlin it is about 20 mins away from anything, 20 mins to most places, 20 mins from food, 20 mins from a bar. But with such a massive city this can happen

The stay was excellent. I really appreciate efficiency, the quiet and cleanliness of the hotel. The one thing I found disconcerting is that there is no interior lock or chain or deadbolt on the room door.

Walkable to the major attractions, museum island, and the needle. Hotel room did not smell right. To our delight the desk clerk told us breakfast was included and told us where the restaurant was. Had a mediocre meal there the first day. Second day they stopped us at the door and told us no breakfast and said we should have not received the first one. Needless embarrassment and error on their part. $6 bottled water no refills in the room after cleaning. No frills, instant coffee in the room, basic.

The rooms are good but their age is showing. The hotel is very clean. During the stay, there was a water leak somewhere in the hotel and instead of partially cutting off the water supply, they just decided to cut the water supply of the entire hotel, that too without informing the guests. Which was pretty weird and inconvenient.

My first visit to Berlin, better for the hotel. My wife and I were there for 8 days, the room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. We liked the warming lamp in the bathroom. We had the traditional German breakfast only once and found BLND coffee shop right across the street that had pretzel bagels with lox, caprese, and avocado (3 differnt choices), muesli with Chia seeds or yogurt, and pastries that we only had a couple of times. There is also a small shop in the same space and we were able to buy mineral water and some German snacks. Dinner at the hotel was delicious, Grace had the Wienerschnitzel and I had an interesting take on pesto with spinach instead of basil. Every one of the staff were fantastic, helpful and personable and engaging. I would recommend Arcotel John F [for JFK] in a heartbeat
