Disappointing stay
I don’t usually leave poor reviews about properties but this one was pretty awful. The place was cramped, smelled like mildew, and had a kitchen that was very poorly appointed. It felt like the people who ran it had done nothing to make it comfortable or inviting. Even the welcome mat was frayed and looked about fifteen years old. My kids were especially bummed because the listing said hot tub, but it turned out the hot tub was a shared one (like sharing it with all of SR) and was in the SHARC complex, which is only open certain hours and does not allow anyone under 16. The hot water also stopped working, so no showers after a day of skiing. The local Vacasa people never sent anyone to fix it and the company gave us a lousy refund of 40.00 for every day we didn’t have hot water. This was the kind of experience that makes me want to stay in hotels…

The property was very clean. Kitchen well supplied. Only needed to borrow one thing. Lining room Furnatrue was uncomfortable, mainly because couches made into beds. Loved the fireplace.

Family catchup at Racoon1
Great location and easy access. Great communication as to how to get there, accessunit and operate items. We dint know where to find Sharq passes and called the office and they helpes right away to locate them. Because we were there for a short time and didnt want to wait for repairs, there are things that need to be fixed onsite. -- We could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace. -- We pulled out the blender to make margaritas and we put in ice, the mix and discovered the machine had a leak and ended up with mix all over the counter. We chose to have our margaritas on the rocks instead. -- Th patio screen

Changes to Property
Cabin was nice. Perfect location but the first thing we saw as we walked in the door was nasty stained carpet. If pets are going to be allowed the owners should install vinyl flooring. Not a good first impression when walking in. Second complaint was the back screen door. Held together by tape and it kept falling off the track. Install a new metal screen door not a mesh door.

Stay away
Too hot when temp is >95 degrees as there is no AC and inadequate tiny fans making the house basically uninhabitable between 3 and 7 PM on a hot day and likely dangerous for anyone who is frail. Should not be a summer rental! Carpet is old and with multiple stains with faint smell of urine. Odd lay out with TV only in a bed room with twin beds. Can't tell what were supposed upgrades that are alluded to except 2 steps off the deck. I don't think any real improvements have been made or serious maintenance performed in over 10 years. Nice but miss leading photo shopping of the images. Shame on you!

Carpet needs cleaning & Vacasa management needs improvement
We were looking forward to a relaxing getaway and unfortunately this trip didn't provide that. We had not received any information from Vacasa including address and check in process. I emailed Vacasa and had to request both. We arrived at 8:30 PM only to find out that Vacasa sent an incorrect entry code. We called Vacasa and received the correct code. We entered the home to find that there was a strong odor which smelled like urine. The carpet was filthy and there were stains throughout the carpet. The hallway was dark and the ceiling light was not working. We reported our concerns to Vacasa via phone and email. Nothing was done. The odor and lack of cleanliness resulted in my husband and I to cut our vacation short and check out early. We contacted Vacasa to inform them that we could not stay for the duration we paid due to the lack of cleanliness. They did not offer to clean the floors, relocate or refund the time we did not stay.

Very comfortable house. A very well stocked kitchen for cooking which is so nice!
A very nice house. Beds not the most comfortable, kitchen nicely stocked. Great location to the village and sharc. Recommend leaving a scrubber pad/sponge to clean pans better. Loved the gas fireplace. Would love to stay again.

Great location in Sunriver
This property is very close to the village and the SHARC, easily walkable to both. Parking is a bit tight with a larger vehicle (SUV) or vehicle with a cargo box. It's located on a small loop, so it's perfect for little one learning to ride bikes or run around. Quiet neighborhood. Home is a bit dated, but comfortable. But, be aware there is only one TV in one of the bedrooms. Which turned out to be fine, but didn't know that going in. We were there late summer, so it was warm inside during the day. The AC/fan wasn't great, but it cooled at night so was fine in the end. Overall the location and price made it worth it.

Perfect summer vacation spot
This house was perfect for our family to spend a week together in! The layout works well for kids, pets and grandparents even though the square footage is not huge! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook multiple meals, the furnishings- while not fancy, were clean and comfortable and the deck was the perfect place to relax in the afternoons! Location can't be beat with just a short walk to the Sharc and the village. Only suggestion is the grips on the bikes are wearing down and leave hands a bit sticky- and maybe one more grown up size bike? We will absolutely keep this house in mind for our next visit!

Wonderful property!! 4.75 stars
Had a wonderful stay at 1 Raccoon Ln. Enjoyed spending the evenings on the deck and mornings by the fireplace. 4 stars only because 2 of the 3 toilets were not very efficient and I wish it had a hot tub. More like 4.75 stars!

Old interior, worn out, close to noisy train
The pictures look way better than the actual house. Interior is very old and worn out. House is also very close to a rail track, the train woke us up every night. While Sunriver is great, I do not recommend this house. Por value for money

Property and house was kept in poor condition
We made the most of our weekend a good time but thought the house was not kept up on. The pictures shown are obviously not in the winter months. We couldn't access the deck or BBQ because of the snow and ice and found it frustrating that the majority of the dishes In the house were dirty and needed washed. With a little TLC this is a good spot for a good price. Close to the SHARC and village which was nice.

Cozy and clean and our dogs had so much fun!
The location was great! Close to the SHARC, tubing hill and the village. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen needs a few upgraded pans and supplies. Our WIFI did not work for the last 3 days we were there and couldn't be fixed even after we called maintenance. This made it difficult to use our devices for movies, weather reports and just basic communication. Overall good experience.

Great location, poor house
The house is in a great location. Within an easy walk to SHARC and the village. House was in poor condition. Toilets didn't flush well. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. The carpet was stained and disgusting. Housekeeping did a marginal job of cleaning. There was still used coffee grounds in the coffee maker. We had to completely clean the kitchen once we got in. Only one TV in a small bedroom. Need more games. Trains went by day and night. If you are a light sleeper, it will be very noisy. Good BBQ. Maintenance was responsive to our issues. Gave it 3 stars because of location. House would barely get 1 star. Would never stay in this house again. Way overpriced.

Great location, dated home, poor management
This house is in a great location, minutes from SHARC and Sunriver Village (and includes 6 or 8 SHARC passes, a good value) - however there are no bike trails between the house and those locations, so walking/biking on the narrow roads is a little nerve wracking. The positives mostly end there. The house is extremely dated, with the exception of new kitchen appliances, and could be soooo much nicer with just a few upgrades. The carpet was really dirty (obviously a function of allowing pets, a policy we ourselves took advantage of) and quite frankly the beds skeeved us out (and were very uncomfortable). There is no firepit or hot tub or even lounge chairs outside - just a table and a few cheap outdoor dining chairs, so not much outdoor relaxing to be had. It is a very quiet loop street so the kids could play outside pretty freely. There is only one television, and it's in the room with two twin beds and no place to sit - so after the kids go to sleep, you can forget about TV. The book with instructions etc. clearly hasn't been updated in years, as it references keys and other procedures that don't exist anymore. Perhaps the most frustrating part was the fact that they did not provide the code to access the shed where the bikes were stored, and as usual per my experience with the property management service that manages this particular home, nobody answers the phone (it's maddeningly frustrating that their voicemail message says they are "busy helping others customers" when you know damn well no one is there, period). Eventually they called us back but we had wasted a day waiting and opted to rent bikes instead. (Note, even if you can get into the shed, there are no helmets, including for the one kids bike - and helmets are required for those under 16 in Sunriver). Also, the house is very close to the train tracks, and freight trains run at all hours of the night, rattling the entire house for several minutes at a time. Overall, if you plan on spending as little Sunriver time at the house as possible, and need a budget option, I suppose this house works. We however, will find another house for our next trip.
