Such A Safe Haven
Everything was exactly as described in the listing, but wven better. We appreciated the finishing touches, like the doggie treats, the snacks and even the touches of humor like the sign on the toilet. I promise to never flush our my hopes and dreams. Thank you so much for *everything* You are a Godsend.

Beautiful, scenic sanctuary!
Home was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there in the house. Gorgeous view of the New river bike trail and the New River from the front porch with rocking chairs. I would highly recommend this cabin!

2ed stay and still perfect!
There is not one thing you need to bring to this cabin except your clothes and your food. Everything is provided. It’s right on the bike trail so just hop on your bike and go! Beds super comfortable, cozy gas logs, fire pit, fantastic porches (one screened, one open) You just cannot beat this cabin if you are biking the trail. Not one little complaint about anything on this cabin! 😁

Perfect Place to Unwind and Ride
The location is not secluded but peaceful. The cabin right next door appeared to be vacant during our stay, so it was quiet. We were here to ride on the New River Trail, which parallels the driveway. By trail, Foster Falls is approximately 4 miles south and the iron bridge in Hiwassee around 10 miles north. The location is perfect in that regard. The cabin is well-appointed and cozy. The jacuzzi tub is perfect after a long day of riding! Cell service is poor but I was able to get LTE in the corner of the front bedroom in case of emergency. Thankfully there were none. Great place for digital detox! Check-in, check-out, and everything in between was easy. The gravel/dirt road getting to the cabin is steep but maintained. We didn't have any issues in a front-wheel drive. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend Ayita to anyone looking for perfect access to the trail for a few days.

You cannot find a better location for bicycling the trail !
This house was a huge surprise on the inside as the photos don’t do it justice. We loved everything about it from the comfortable beds, to the fully stocked kitchen, to the huge jetted tub, and especially the porches. One open and one screened, both of which we used and rocked happily in the rocking chairs as we waved to other bicyclists peddling by. Such fun! I have absolutely zero comments other then this house is perfect and we will be returning yearly to bike the trail! I won’t even bother looking for other accommodations.

Truly a gettaway
Everything was good but this property could use some TLC--more like a good spring cleaning. Needed a few kitchen items. Bathroom was lovely, the bedding excellent, and all was very comfortable and the setting was very nice. The road to the property needs to be maintained better but not sure whose responsibility that is. The satellite TV was a nice edition as we had no cell service. We had a relaxing week.

New River Trail at your doorway and surrounded by history !
What an awesome hide away ! The New River Rails to Trail literally runs through the front yard. Pick a direction and you 20+ miles either way. Don't want to ride the cabin is centrally located to numerous attractions... pick your fancy and you'll be there in minutes. The cabin itself is an absolute gem!! One charm mixed perfectly with modern touches... everything you need for a romantic get-a-way or a week with the family.... only possible improvement would be wifi but not a issue when you don't need it.... will plan to stay here again and again !!

New River bicycle base camp
We used this cottage as our base camp to bike the trail. We are frequent VRBO users and this company is one of the best managers of houses we have rented from. They have thought of everything.. Great cottage and great management

Terrible rude management
Property is fine. Only complaints about the property itself is (1) there are live and dead stinkbugs everywhere in the house and (2) the pictures don't show you that there is a second rental cabin just steps away and you will hear everything going on on their porch. I would still rent again despite that BUT the management has serious issues. Mind you, we are trying to have a romantic weekend and this place is out in the middle of nowhere on the end of a dead end road. Second morning there, a guy pulls up in a truck, claims to be a home inspector and demands access and tells us we were supposed to have already checked out. Um NO, my reservation was for three days and I don't know you from Adam and I'm in my pajamas and my partner is in bed, we are NOT letting you in this house. This is like how a serial killer movie starts. Then he gets huffy, goes sits in his truck and stares at the house for a long time before leaving, so we didn't feel like we could leave. Trying to recover from that and go about our day, next thing a lady drives up and starts banging on the door. Not again! She doesn't introduce herself or anything, just starts saying she is here to apologize for the first person disturbing us. Well, how about not disturb us again! Or give us a discount on our stay or a late checkout, something meaningful! We then had a voicemail from yet a third person telling us that a home inspector needs to access the property. I've been renting VRBO properties for life 15 years and never had such an experience. If you are going to schedule a home inspection of a vacation property, give the renters that information up front so they can decide whether they want to let some strange man be a third wheel on their weekend and see all of their stuff! Completely beyond the pale.

Great Cabin Getaway
The peaceful location and numerous little extras were exactly what my wife and I needed for a couple’s getaway. Taking full advantage of the amenities, we cuddled in blankets on the porch listening to the bubbling of the river as we sipped our morning coffee, strolled along the New River Trail in the crisp autumn afternoons, and shared a bottle of wine next to the cozy fireplace. The last day, our kiddos came in and we enjoyed throwing rocks in the river, exploring the caves along the trail, and sticky s’mores by the fire pit. What an amazing weekend!

Comfortable and Cozy
We had such a great time at Ayita! The rustic cabin is spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The New River Trail runs right in front of the cabin and the river is just beyond that, providing a lovely view. The front porch and screened in porch were our favorite places to gather and listen to the river. Great place - we will be back.

Cozy cabin in woods
We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing on the rocking chairs listening to the river and catching up on the screened in porch. It is a rugged drive to get to, but worth it! Tastefully decorated and very comfortable!
