The room and hotel were lovely. When we arrived front staff was welcoming, walked us to our room which was pleasant and quiet. The shower head had to be the best I have ever experienced in a hotel room. The hotel is central but on a quiet street. Easy walk to downtown area, hop on hop off, Diagonal street etc. Lots of restaurants, bakeries and tapas places close by. High end shopping and tourist sites within 10 min walk. We added breakfast to our package. Nice little space…eggs and meats upon order, coffee and lots of choice to start the day. Again great staff looking after you. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect to enjoy the best of Barcelona. It’s centrally located without being too busy or loud. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The rooms are very stylish and bright. No kids allowed makes for a quiet adult holiday location

My wife and I stayed at Mirror Barcelona for 2 nights in mid-July. This is a small hotel with mirrors everywhere! Our room was spacious, well-equipped and very clean. The main reason I give it a 2/5 rating is that for both nights we were there, the water to our room and to the whole hotel building was shut down in the evening for a couple of hours! The first night, we came back to our room after a long day of sightseeing, and realized we don’t have any running water to take shower, use the toilet, or even brushing our teeth! I went down to the lobby and the receptionist (the only person working at the hotel beside the barman) was unaware of the problem, he had to call the hotel manager and be instructed how to fix the issue, as there was no service person on duty. Meanwhile, I had to go to a nearby restaurant to use their toilet! I thought this was just a one night issue, but the same happened in the second night with again no running water in the whole building! It took about two hours for a service person to drive to the hotel and fix the issue. It is simply not acceptable for 4.5 stars hotel not to have running water in the whole building for two nights in a row!

shower flooded- hotel entered my room without my consent to remove the furniture that got wet but left my personal belongings including laptop on the floor to become soaked-and then when i asked what had happened they blamed it on me- cursed at me and threatened to call the police. overall a terrible experience. not to mention the lights were broken and room cards didnt work on several occasions as well.
