Amazing location, right in the centre of the Gothic Quarter. Nice modern hotel. Only downside is we had a bad smell in the bathroom. We didnt report till the last day (it wasnt they much of an issue to us) but a downside and the cleaners must have noticed. Our friend's room was unaffected so maybe not a widespread issue. Also they make a big deal about a water shortage but replace all the towels everyday... nice and fresh, but not exactly eco... Overall only minor issues, we'd definitely stay again.

Wanna write some positive things but didn't have enough space, so I'm just gonna write the cons only! Photos of the rooms on the website are for reference only and don't guarantee you're gonna get the exact or at least similar rooms as you booked. 1. Booked a room with the WINDOWS LOOK OUT TO THE MAIN STREET. The room I got have the same set up but windows facing dead spots!! (I have photos for proof because fortunately I usually screenshot everything before I paid) 2. Bed will be either 1 Double bed or 2 Single beds BASED ON THEIR AVAILABILITY. The receptionist responded "they will switch the bed tomorrow because they do not have any Double Bed available". Before filed a complain, I re-read the booking info and realized I was not reading it carefully about the bed thing. The problem is I never heard back from them about the bed switching offer, so I was like nevermind it was already unpleasant from the beginning. READ THROUGHLY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE BEST STAYING EXPERIENCE! 3. AC issue. This was when I couldn't hold it anymore and gotta reached out to Expedia. This hotel TURN OFF COOL AIR during the cold month and the AC only has the heat option when turn on (my trip was in mid-November). It was cold outside but in a hotel room, it's not just about the temperature but importantly is the air circulation. My only option was leaving the window open, and it was LOUD! 10/10 for Expedia: very responsive and immediately contacted the hotel ?/10 I'll leave you rate Rialto

We liked that the hotel was nicely updated. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean, however, the floors need to be mopped as they were sticky. It is very conveniently located to many wonderful restaurants, shops, and activities. We would definitely stay there again.

There was no AC at the property, and the rooms would become incredibly warm. We would need to resort to open windows but being in the middle of a tourist destination meant endless amounts of noise until late hours past midnight. This was not mentioned anywhere before we booked, and we felt cheated. How can a basic utility be shut off?

Good- located in the Gothic quarter, walking distance to the cathedral and Las Ramblas. Bad- cabs had limited access to the front of the hotel, meaning we had to drag luggage through the plaza. Good - the room was very clean and the bathroom was modern. Bad - the bathroom had the stench of sewerage. The desk personnel admitted it was an on-going issue saying that they work on the drains on a different floor each week to control the issue. We stayed in several hotels across Iberia over two weeks. This was the smallest room and most expensive. Bad - the room was very warm and the air-conditioning didn’t seem to work very well. We slept with the windows open (6th floor) but felt safe because the windows had bars on them. Hmmm. Also our window was directly next to the building’s air shaft, so we got to hear everyone else’s conversations all evening. Finally, our room was down a hallway with two steps in it so those with mobility issues should make sure their particular room is totally accessible.

Lovely lobby and sitting area, great staff, clean rooms, nice bathroom. Fantastic breakfast. A little noisy, but to be expected in a convenient neighborhood. Also a little hot in the room as the ac was turned off for the winter. Too noisy to open the window, so it was a little stuffy. I would still stay again though as the positives outweigh the negative.
