Horrible check in, have misleading information on website when booking. Have to walk 7 blocks to another apartment after check-in. Basically no service after check-in. Asked for toilet paper and it has never come.

Great location and apartment! Our only problem was with the communication with us about a change in the location of our stay, required due to plumbing problem prior to our arrival at our original apartment location. We were given an upgraded apartment, in a more central location, so no issues here! The problem is that we didn't receive any notification of the change. MH Apartments said that they notified Expedia and that we should have received a notice from them, but we did not. A surprise at 10:30 p.m. after a long day.

The apartment was very nice and not far from the sites I wanted to see. What I did not like was when I arrived (after paying $35 Euro for a taxi from the airport) The Concierge informed me and my companion of a problem with the apartment at the address provided and they sent us to another location 8 blocks away. I asked why they didn't contact me prior to my arrival and they just apologized but provided no alternative on how to get there and said to walk. Which we did. It was ridiculous walking that far with 3 large suit cases and additional shoulder bags. If I was informed in advance I would have taken the taxi directly there. I was not offered a ride, taxi or compensation for the mishap which was also very disappointing. They said they gave us an upgrade which it really wasn't. They just gave us an apartment with an additional bedroom which we did not need. Lastly, I brought my own cafetera (espresso stove top coffee pot) since I would have a stove available, well they fail to inform guests that the stove top was an induction stove and non magnetic pots would not work. It took me quite some time to learn that the problem was the type of cook top and not my lack of understanding on how to use it. That information should be noted in Room Amenities in the property description. Overall I had a nice experience but since I took the time to communicate with the property prior to my arrival I would have expected them to keep me notified of changes to my reservation.

Although our apartment was relocated at the last minute, we could not fault the location or the apartment. A very enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone, even with the self check-in machine in the lobby

Mixed bag

When we originally went to the location provided by Expedia, we were told the booking didn't exist. After a while they eventually agreed I had a reservation but that it was at another location. I was told it was 7m walk but it was more like 45m. I was with my mother, who has cancer which has rendered her disabled, and the walk really took its toll on her. The room itself was really nice but the fact that my mother's health massively suffered really put a dampener on the whole stay

Booked this hotel only to review a email from them 2 days before the arrival date to be told they had moved us to another hotel. Contacted expedia who contacted the hotel and confirmed that we would still be staying there. On arrival they again said we had been moved but did in the end find us a apartment which was great

Recent trip to Barcelona

Lovely appartment. Clean and spacious. Modern and very well equipped with good kitchen, 2 x TV and a coffee machine. Welcome pack for kitchen a nice touch. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Lounge and dining area, two bedrooms each with bathroom & shower/bath. Air conditioning was great as weather was very hot. We all slept well as appartment was quiet and we did not hear any noise from other guests. Staff helpful and spoke English. A great stay overall. Location slightly away from main tourist area but easy to walk to most places. Bring some comfortable footwear. Buses great and easy to use if needed. Good Condis supermarket 2 mins away and a Lidl a bit further where we got all we needed. Short walk to some nice restaurants. Would come here again the next time we visit Barcelona. We felt safe and secure at all times. Recommended.

Very good and comfortable!

I booked for a 2 bedroom apartment. When we arrived we noted some minor problems but the staff were very good and dealt with it at once. They told me that the apartment I booked was not available so they upgraded us to rooftop apartment with a huge terrace where we spent most of our breakfasts every morning. They also gave us access to the pool as complimentary! All kitchen necessities are available and there is a washing machine so all our clothes were clean when we went home. There a few supermarkets nearby. The beds were comfortable even my kids noted this. The location is not too bad. You need to be prepared to walk around 2-3 blocks away for your nearest metro and bus stops. If you have young kids, bring your pushchair or scooters or heelies!

We had the superior two bed apartment booked for our family of four at the height of the summer heat wave. The air-conditioning broke down on the fourth day of our visit and sleeping was very uncomfortable. It was fixed the next day so it's something that just happens but there was just a note pinned on the door rather than a staff member explaining the situation to you. The apartment itself is suitable for self catering to an extent, however there is limited cooking space so if you're just doing plain pasta or soup or heating up already cooked food it's fine but if you're going to make a gourmet meal forget it. also it would have been nice to be told to get our own washing up liquid, scourers and dishwashing tablets. There is a washing machine in the apartment however it has not been cleaned and we were afraid our clothes would come out dirtier if we put it in! Other than that it is suitable for our visit, there are plenty of supermarkets around, very centrally located to all the important tourist bits. Check in was easy. there is just no one from 6 AM to 8 AM in the morning but otherwise it is manned for the rest of the time which is quite handy. We walked all the way from our apartments to Montjuc and even Pole Espanol. The metro stop we used was Rocafort or Urgell. The stop after that is Espanya that leads on to Montjuc and also near the shopping mall which is the old converted bull ring Arena. You can see the Magic Fountains from the top it.

The apartment was VERY, VERY CLEAN, I also loved that it had a washing and dryer machine in one, rooms are very spacious, has kitchen. Outside the hotel you have taxis passing by every moment, so you do need to get an Uber. Love the place!
