The place is noisy because it’s located in a popular shopping and dining areas. But it’s also conveniently located to most tourist attractions like the Sagrada de familia, gothic quarter, La boqueria and others. Be careful with pick pockets which is common in Madrid and Barcelona. The hotel staff are very helpful. It’s a very safe area. I would stay there again.

Excellent location, safe Barcelona hotel
This Barcelona hotel is in a great location. It is super safe and right by two Gaudí buildings (La Pedrera, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló). Plus, you're within walking distance from shops and restaurants. The staff was quite helpful.

Hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly, most spoke English, which was helpful. Breakfast was delicious with many options, initially we were concerned there wouldn’t be enough, but everything offered was delicious. Walkable the sagrada familia and we found a small open air market that had many options. Room was perfect for two adults and a child.

Stay tainted by fact I had to file a dispute. Once I returned home from 1 month of international travel I realized I wasn’t credited for the change in my reservation. I delayed my stay, was charged for both the original reservation and the actual stay. I booked a refill able stay. Decision on reimbursement is pending.

Best location! Nicest staff! Room with a view of Casa Mila! Rooftop was awesome view of Sagrada Familia! Best restaurants are in few blocks away.

Great but horrible AC Noises
The only complaint we had was the AC, it was extremely loud and made weird bike revving noises on all nights we stayed like it was trying hard to push out air. We eventually got used to the sound on night 2 and did not notify the front desk since we did not want to go through the hassle of switching rooms. At least one of the nights, it helped drown out the noises from an aggravating nearby house (or another room?) party.

Excellent location with food options everywhere. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast buffet was very good. Amazing rooftop bar/restaurant. Spent several evenings and cocktail hour enjoying the view and the food.
