An ideal location for exploring the city and very close to Sagrada Familia. Lots of supermarkets and places to eat nearby and the continental breakfast was perfect to start your day. To get to La Rambla was about a 30 minute walk, but there were also metro stations close if you want to use them We did have an issue with our shower on the first day, but the hotel staff attended to it immediately and fixed it whilst we were out that morning Would be happy to stay here again if we were returning to the city

If I could give this hotel no stars I would. The cleanliness in this hotel is UNACCEPTABLE for the price you pay. I don’t understand how Expedia and Google rated this hotel so high. The staff we lovely. My one star can be for them. I never leave hotel reviews but please be aware this hotel is classed a three star hotel, it in fact feels 1 star. We had bugs in the toilet, no basic amenities or necessities provided such as slippers, bathroom essentials other than shampoo and shower gel. The bed felt dirty the floors were very dirty (our white socks were grey) we couldn’t even sleep in the bed. We slept on top of the covers. The towels were old I felt dirty using them after the shower. I just overall would not recommend this hotel. But hotel staff were lovely and kind, additionally location of the hotel was very good.

My room was fine, very clean. There was no local info in the room, just a booklet advertising Best Hotels. When I was waiting for my taxi in the last day I picked up a magazine in the foyer which would have helped me plan my time and find places to eat. Perhaps put this in the rooms. The staff I encountered were all very pleasant.
