i loved reading about the history of the hotel. i had a translation app, where i took pictures of the historical articles, and the app translated to english. the free breakfast was very good, too.

The bathroom and shower was downstairs, and for us, being 77years of age that was quite an inconvenience. To ask for a different room wound of really been more than the two older staff members would have agreed to.

The hotel was in the heart of Las Ramblas and in walking distant to several tourist attractions in Barcelona. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than just a continental breakfast and plenty of options. The coffee machine was able to make any type of coffee option you would like. The area is safe and very well lite at night also. The rooms are big for Europe.

Hotel and staff excellent. Hotel is located on Las Ramblas, which is under construction. May have difficulty if taxi drop off. Perfect for walking and easy mass transportation. Complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choices and well stocked. Location has everything you need, lots of action.

Comfortable and convenient stay
Older hotel but roomy and comfortable. Service was quick and friendly. Convenient location. Very nice stroll to Placa Catalunya and to Aerobus stop to the airport. Lots of places to eat around the hotel. Lots to see... walk to the Picasso Museum!

For a 2 star hotel this was a great find and good value for money. Great location, very helpful staff and although the accommodation is basic it is comfortable and clean. Room cleaned every day and fresh towels. Breakfast was included and there was a great variety on offer. Would recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay. Basic but very clean and so convenient. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel has character and so good for a 2 star hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Very conviniente location, you can walk everywere. The breakfast privided was really good. Unfortunately they were doing a lot of work on the rambla but we didn't hear any noice. You can walk to the gotic quarters in minutes.

What stood out at this property is the 24/7 front desk, staffed with kind and wonderful people who genuinely greeted you and made you feel so at home. We literally said Barcelona feels like home due largely to their hospitality. Simple and clean accomodations. If you are a hotel snob this may not be for you but for us travelers, perfect! Even left my luggage while riding the hip on hop off bus, walking to the port and C Square. I’d stay here again!!

The staff was wonderful, but the construction and loud vibrations in the building kept us up all night! It definitely needed to be updated! There were no blankets just sheets on the bed. Minimal toiletries in the bathroom. Bare bones accommodations!

I had a great 4 night stay at the hotel in September. The location of the hotel is on La Rambla, a very popular hotspot in Barcelona. There are a large number of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean and good for the price. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, they provided me with lots of advice regarding Barcelona in general such as where to be cautious of pickpockets, where to eat, where not to eat and were able to order me a taxi to the airport. There is breakfast available at the hotel. The rooms are regularly cleaned. Overall the hotel is very good and I would recommend it.
