Second Stay at Chic & Basic Born
My partner had stayed in this hotel on a business trip a year before our own trip to Barcelona, so he was happy to book it a second time. Well located with a decent breakfast and bar area. Building itself is lovely. Only small issues were the shower hose head was broken in Room 10 (we used the rainfall shower head, so no worries on a lack of shower) and the heating was turned up very high in the room without us knowing it was on full blast on the first night (we are Irish so are used to the cold in January, this was too warm for us and window couldn't be open all night due to outside noise)

I loved the rooms and the ambiance of the hotel. The rooms were clean, the crown molding, and high ceilings were perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful with all of our questions and needs. I would stay there again without any reservations!

Our stay at Chic&Basic Born Hotel was great. The receptionist was friendly and gave great food recommendations. The room was just as pictured, and housekeeping and fresh towels were provided daily. The location was surrounded by many shops and restaurants, and walking distance to the Arc de Triomf and different neighborhoods. I would stay here again!

I have stayed several times at this Chic&Basic Location, the location is very convenient and we love that is not right on the touristy part of the city. The room needed a bit of repairs on restroom wise, some light fixtures out of place and the shower splashes onto the hardwood floor. Otherwise we strongly recommend this hotel as it is close to some of our favorite restaurants.

The location of the hotel is good. Walking distance to most popular attractions. Also there many restaurants near the hotel. The staff is very helpful. The drawback is there is no elevator. Inside the our room, the floor is not level. We had to walk down a few steps to go to the washroom which I think it's hazardous especially in the middle of the night.
