December DoubleTree Bakersfield
We recently stayed at another DoubleTree and had a perfect experience, so our expectations were admittedly high for our Bakersfield stay. We weren't offered their warm cookies upon arrival, the hotel felt like it needed a little attention to paint touch-ups, etc, and the breakfast was not as plentiful as other Doubletrees. We did have a lovely stay, with comfortable beds, good service, and clean rooms.

Stayed for 2 nights with my family (wife and 2 boys). Very clean and spacious rooms, no complaints at all. Breatfast at the hotel was good for adults and kids. Very close to freeway, shoping and restaurants! Definitely going to stay here again when im back in Bakersfield.

Top tier Bakersfield hotel with reasonable rates
This was our first stay at Double Tree, Bakersfield. Our experience at this hotel was excellent! The grounds were beautifully landscaped! The lobby was spacious and beautifully decorated for the Christmas Holiday. Likewise, our room was spacious, with all the modern amenities. The room and bathroom were squeaky clean! The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet. There are lots of places to eat near the hotel. The room rate was reasonable and we will definitely stay here again!

Staff was nice. Great bed to sleep on. Pretty much the positive I can say about my stay. The downsides… the room needs new carpet. The carpet made the room smell old and unclean. There was no mirrors to see myself in a full outfit. There was also no hair dryer so I could not wash my hair and style it as I had planned. Because if that, I won’t be booking another stay the next time I’m in town.
