Ok but needs some attention
The hotel is nice but I experienced some problems. The door to my room did not lock when the door closes. I did not discover the issue until the morning and it made me very uncomfortable that my room was unlocked the whole time. Less importantly there was mold in the shower and the cleaners missed some chocolate a previous guest left on the carpet which was not pleasant to step on.

We had an excellent 3-night stay in this leafy part of the city, which is outside of the main centre of Amsterdam but very well connected through public transport, and only a few minutes' walk to the big museums. Good breakfast and the free bottle of wine in exchange for minimal cleaning to save energy was very welcome!

The view of the rooms on the site show big windows with panoramic views but the actual windows were small with restricted views because of the trees. The bar area was not very hospitable, the option of food was ceased at 10.00 pm . Having paid these prices for this room, would have thought there would be better service.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful, quiet area that is still within walking distance to downtown Amsterdam. The staff were really lovely and helpful, while the room was clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. I even had a lovely view from the room window. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the hotel to others.
