William a check in attendant at the hotel threatened to shoot me in my face. I was in NM on business, and while I was checking in the hotel staff a lady at the check in was having a crisis. She couldn’t find her depression meds. I have family members who suffers from mental illness and I have seen first hand how bad things can get so I jumped into action to help her look for her meds. We searched but no luck, so finally she checked me in and I promised to come back to check on her. It was when I went back down to check on her I was confronted by this evil man, who was just standing there with no compassion. The woman commented that someone must have taken her pill bottle, and at that moment I suggested to the man to check the cameras. He then berated me and all I did was ask him for his name and went outside. The lady then found her meds and came running to thank me, and also warned me to stay away from him because he was angry and threatened to shoot me in my face if I ever say another word to him. All of this for helping someone in need. I am taking this to the full extent of the law! Can you imagine someone wanting to end another person’s life for asking a harmless question. Unacceptable!

This was a decent hotel to stay at. Clean and bright. Though I must say the room itself was cold and super sterile. Like its previous life was an office. Huge, No carpet, echoey The check-in staff was a girl on her cell phone that wouldn’t look up for several minutes while she completed a business transaction on her phone. She never did say hi. Only asked for ID. I felt like I did something wrong for approaching her desk.

I got in on Christmas day and found no one at the front desk . I waited a long time and then started walking around the hallways and breakrooms trying to find someone. Finally after about 30 minutes a woman came out of a hotel room with her children and was upset that I was wanting to check-in. Mind you it was an hour early than 3 o'clock check-in. But why was someone NOT at the front desk. She finally agreed to let me check in since I was already late to my family Christmas dinner. But come to find out she charged my $50 for the check-in. The rooms are rundown and the beds are TERRIBLE. The staff seemed not to be able to keep up with the morning coffee replenish. I could of been happy there with even those issues but not having someone at the front desk when I got there and for me to have to hunt them down is ridiculous.

Well breakfast was good! The room needed a lot of repair work. Room 425. The heater/ac unit made noise like it was starting up a lawnmower all night. The thermostat didn’t work unless in auto mode. Maintenance did a very very poor repair job near the shower baseboard. When we went to leave at 10 am, none of the tables were cleaned off from breakfast and there was no more coffee and the coffee station was really dirty. Spilled coffee by the elevators. I’m sure it will all get cleaned, but man what a mess! Probably won’t stay here again. And we’ve got lots of appointments coming up with specialists in ABQ.
