While the bed was thankfully clean, everything else was pretty much disgusting. No effort was made to keep the walking areas free from stains and the parking lot free from debris. I don’t know how this place gets the reviews that it does. Perhaps because of the recent change in ownership/management

Great price and very easy parking. Was disappointed with two things. First, the trash cans were not emptied out in my room. And second, there was trash, overflowing in the trashcan out front of my room. Staff was great. Probably a one off. Will stay there again.

This motel looks nothing like this photo and in fact we could not and did not stay there.My norm is to not write bad reviews and if you look at my history you will see only positive reviews. I checked in and the clerk led us to the room. She came out with what appeared to be garbage.We then made a decision not to stay and I asked the clerk if she was going to delete the booking and she said yes..I had made the reservation with a visa ending in 9359 and there was a 50.00 pending that was removed a couple of days later. I checked my other card an there was a charge of 82.59 the cost of the room. that posted 3 days later. I spoke with hotels .com.and was told I would get an E mail from the hotel customer service and that has not happened. I book through Hotels .com and I have 5 future bookings. I expect great service from you and would like you to fix this problem.

In the pictures the property looked clean and fresh paint. The staff were not friendly, warm or inviting.. Non smoking rooms, with chairs and ashtrays in front of every door. Street noise was constant, maintenance was slamming doors up to 11 pm. Carpets dirty.

Fantastic historic hotel
Currently undergoing a major rehab, but still a great hotel. Wonderful employees, front desk to housekeeping everyone I dealt with was 5 star.

This is an older drive in motel, so the car was close to the room which was nice. My room had not been recently renovated but was very comfortable and everything worked including the WiFi, and the hot water was almost instant. The hotel breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. The only real disappointment was that the pool was closed. The historic Landing Restaurant across the street was friendly with good food (and all day breakfast). The Coronado Hotel is close to all the Yuma Historic Main Street restaurants which was a big plus. The nearby river front park is a great place for a morning run from the hotel. If you like the character of an older facility this is a great option.

Don't waste your money.
Well I prepaid online for a room,only to be told that house cleaning was just finishing up and would only be 5mins.So I leave and go pick up something to eat.45mins later I pull up in front of my room and house cleaning is still in my room?She was just then finishing up?The room very out dated very very small, and barely enough room to actually move freely with all the furniture they had. A window ac that was to small for the room,clogged ac filter.Took forever to cool off the room.Bed was a double sized just barely enough room for two adults. No it wasnt worth the $90.Not after going through and seeing all the other rooms they had that weren't occupied.

The Coronado hotel is an older property; I made the reservation with the intention to enjoy an evening swimming and relaxing b the pool. Unfortunately, both pools were closed. The manager gave me an upgrade to a king room. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The shower was warn and relaxing and the towels were fresh and fluffy clean. Overall, I did get a good night sleep and two fresh cups of coffee in the morning at the lobby.

I have always really liked this place. I stay 8 -10 times a year for work trips and I have recommended it many times. But it's changed management; it's cheaper and it shows. No more breakfast is the big thing. Also, little things like no guide or channel menu for the TV. It was always on the line of shabby chic; now it's just going shabby. I'll still go but won't recommend anymore.

We stayed here because it was a good location near good restaurants and dog friendly. It is an older property, next to a main street, so was quite noisy at times. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, but the outdoor trash cans were overflowing. It is likely due for some exterior renovation. The staff was very nice and accommodating.
