The hotel is in a very nice area downtown and walkable to many stores and dininh options. The noise level was a bit much on my last night's stay. They were doing some construction near by and woke me up early. Also it would be nice if they added a continental breakfast like a grab-n-go.

The room was large and clean, with a full kitchen. The staff and maid service was very responsive to our requests. Refreshments were available in the lobby. Great location to MetroRail for visiting the National Mall museums and dining options.

I love how spacious the rooms are. I also love the fact that it is like a studio apartment, with the mini-kitchen, utensils and silverware. Most hotel rooms these days are not as big, so it was a welcome change. The staff were very gracious in providing an early check-in and also were very friendly. The constant drinks and coffee downstairs was extremely helpful, along with the popcorn. However, I would have preferred thicker walls as we could hear not only the TV from the other rooms, but also the conversations they were having. It woke us up in the morning and kept us up at night. If the rooms were soundproof, they would get a perfect rating from me.

Sigh..

Very nice looking hotel. Kind staff, very responsive to questions. Great amenities. Our shower never got warm- and we asked about it and they never serviced it. Our room had wood/laminate floors and I don't think they swept them. Our bed was so noisy we were almost afraid to shift out of fear of waking the other.
