This hotel is an easy walk to the National Mall and L'Enfant Metro station, making it perfect for seeing DC without a vehicle. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and they went out of their way to offer assistance. The room was clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in DC.

Great place to stay.! Location is perfect for getting around. The breakfast wasn't great and expensive but there are plenty of places close by. Highly recommend staying here

Overall the property was good. Dining at the hotel was great! We did report a leaky faucet and it was fixed very quickly. I would stay here again. However, when checking in, staff member did not explain the elevator key system, no other instructions regarding parking and seemed a little put off to help me. I am sure it was an isolated incident however more instruction to a first time guest would be appreciated.

A helpful inclusion would be to add a small nightlight in the bathroom, then you would not need to disturb your partner by needing to turn on a light in the darkness. Also it would be safer than walking in complete darkness to get to the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay, very clean and excellent location for metro l’Enfant Plaza and walkable to many museums and sites.

Good Homebase for visiting the National Mall
PROS: GREAT location for walking to the mall. Concierge was helpful for getting directions and recommendations. Close to the Metro station. Close to McDonalds, in-house Starbucks, and in-house restaurant similarly priced with other nearby restaurants, but it was much better than other meals we paid just as much for. Housekeeping did an excellent job and refreshed coffee and towels each day. CONS: The room was a bit “worse for the wear”. The AC was very very loud, which was mostly ok because I sleep with headphones in. The bedding was fraying on one of the beds, the furniture was worn, there were stains on the wallpaper in the bathroom, a burnt lightbulb by the bed, and loose fixtures on the sink and shower. Compared to the cost for other nearby hotels, I would do it again. The rooms are probably overdue for some serious maintenance.

I always try to stay at this hotel bc of its location to the subway & the National Mall-one block away I can get from the airport to the hotel w/o transferring as well as other spots. The staff is friendly, helpful & polite. I like that it has a breakfast buffet.
