Dated but clean
Oceanfront was nice, even in Jan. First room they gave us, the front door didn’t work. Second room did not have a coffee maker which I thought was odd since the first room did. Jacuzzi tub was nice and relaxing but the jets had very little power. For the price in the off season, it was great but would not stay here during the summer after looking at their prices but then again..it is the oceanfront

For the money,this place is good. Don't come looking for a 4 star hotel. It's older but it was clean. I suggest you get a room close to the elevator in the winter if you are cold natured. The winds does blow in the older doors. We enjoyed our stay and tthe cost of the room. The staff was great.

Had a great stay, I could tell that care and thoughtfulness is put into the guest experience there. The staff were excellent and as an unexpected bonus they had a complementary level 2 EV charging station for their guests that came in super handy for me. The hot tub in the room with a view was also a very unique amenity rarely seen these days and my family enjoyed it. Great stay!

This property is nasty. It is an older model hotel that offers a lot of nice things around the building it self. With that said the staff tends to lack the cleaning aspect of things ruining our experience for the weekend. Once we arrived we pulled back the sheets and saw there was hair all over the bed along with stains and a smell. We called this in and a staff member brought up 1 loose sheet and 2 pillowcases that was handed to me and then he walks out without speaking. I had no problem putting these on myself, but it was awkward housekeeping comes up and they wouldn’t even come in to see the mess and hair we were talking about. Another problem we had was the lighting in the room. They must not check the switches, but we had 3 lights out in our room all over the place. Overall, we made the best we could out of this vacation but sadly it mostly came while we were out and about. Definitely disappointed after spending the money that we did to stay somewhere! Definitely do not plan on coming back!

The location was great for me. I went to do a little birding and was able to easily access the beach for a long walk and there was a little inlet right near the hotel where I got to spy a rare duck (Common Eider) and even some Dolphins who ventured very close to the boardwalk to delight all of us. The Schooner Inn is clean and nice and I am happy to have learned about it!
