Arrived on Sunday for one night to catch early flight next day. Reception/lobby was locked with note on door showing number to call. Called owner to receive us. Waited 15 minutes, then owner came, checked us in, showed us our room, discussed breakfast options. (Although frustrating, the initial wait was understandable since the owner cooks six days a week for prix fixe dinnners in the restaurant and morning breakfast buffets. Sunday is his day off so he is on call to give assistance that day).
The hotel security is good, with a controlled elevator that accesses both the lobby / breakfast area and the hotel parking lot.
The owner was pleasant, as was the fellow who served us coffee & croissant before our early departure (7:30 AM). Parking was an additional 12 Euro (it's 28 Euro for garages in central Wien, though there is a 3.50 Euro/day garage 4km northwest in Erdberg on the U3 [orange] very clean metro line that has a stop just a couple blocks from the hotel and will take you to the heart of old Vienna).
Our room was clean and quiet. It had a small kitchenette and there was ample hot water for bathing.
